The Steam Packet Inn is a lovely historical B&B on the banks of the mighty Murray River. Our room was just great, spotlessly clean and full of lovely items and special touches. With a small fridge , tv, iPod dock it had all the mod cons. The bed was lovely and comfortable. A very nice cooked breakfast was included in...

Our visit to the Steampacket Inn was only overnight, but very enjoyable. Our host was lovely and the breakfast was great in a beautiful dining room full of a collection of gorgeous old china and photos of the past. Our room was very comfortable. Would love to go back again

We overnighted in Echuca on our road trip for work, choosing to take a route so I could see a bit of country Victoria. I booked the Steampacket Inn as I didn't want to stay in a stock standard motel. My room had the charm of a small country boutique hotel. Comfortable and appointed well without being over the top....

Position Position Position my Real Estate agent would say, and this little gem of an Inn is tucked just behind the Murray river, right in the heart of the town. We were hoping to stay on the river in a Paddle Steamer but settled for the Steam Packet Inn when it was offered to us after a cancellation at a...

A charming B&B centrally located. Perfect for couples or singles, wouldn't recommend for children as rooms are small. Excellent value for money, almost seems too cheap. Wonderful breakfast included. Will definitely recommend.

I've stayed here three times over the last three years. Each time I've been very happy to be 'transported' back to the 1900s. The effort put in by the owners to decorate the rooms is appreciated. The location is perfect if you are a tourist. Would recommend this place for couples or families.

Stayed here to run a workshop in Echuca and was pleasantly surprised to discover the detail that had gone into decorating each room with antiques. It's a very special little BnB in a fabulous location to explore the port area. Have since gone back with family and would definitely stay again.

This historic establishment provided a very comfortable two night stay in Echuca for us whilst traveling along the Murray River. Essentially a smallish B&B right in the middle of the old port area you really are located in the heart of the tourist area. I recommend visitors realise this is a fantastic old building full of history and charm but...

We loved staying at the Steampacket Inn. It is beautifully furnished, decorated and "old worldy". We chose a riverview room which was just lovely - not huge but not small, either. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous, too. The history of the Steampacket Inn makes it special, also. Furthermore, it is situated right near all the...
