These well equipped 4 star cottages are placed on a gentle slope, with gardens, lawns and birdlife, set on the front of a 100 acre grazing property just 6 kilometers from the centre of Lakes Entrance. We offer 1 or 2 bedroom cottages, which will accommodate up to 4 people (A fold down couch is included, which allows accommodation up to 5 people). Inside - A Reverse Cycle Split System Air conditioner, overhead fans, 81 cm digital LCD TV, DVD player, stereo system with IPOD dock. Fully equipped kitchen, full size stove, microwave, electric fry pan, toaster, kettle, all cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery. All cabins have a Queen size bed in the main bedroom, 2 Single beds in second bedroom, all linen and personal towels supplied. Each cabin has a separate toilet and bathroom. Own gas BBQ on the balcony with outdoor setting. Outside - 10 metre solar heated salt pool, children’s playground, meeting and games room, ample boat and car parking, grassy areas to kick the footy or play cricket, forest walks in the Colquhoun State Forest opposite. A two night stay. These are older type individual cottages which are similarly older inside but very very comfortable and enjoyable. The visiting bird life is encouraged with birdseed for the feeder provided. The BBQ on the deck was great. We had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Great place to visit to get away from the noisy city life,lots of birds to watch as you chill on the veranda.Cottage was kept clean though there was a lot of tiny spiders throughout the place.Gas lighter provided to light the burners on oven though it was empty.I must point out though the games room ..... very filthy not looked after at all cobwebs dust broken boards ,looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for years not fit for usage at all photos attached.We did not go for the games room but families would and honestly I would condem this room till it is cleaned.Games room aside we would stay at the cottage again cause it was a great getaway and it had everything you need, perhaps the bathroom needs to be updated but other than that it’s fine.Friendly greeting on arrival and then left undisturbed.…

Peaceful, clean & tranquil. Cosy clean cottage with self contained kitchen. 5 minute drive to the heart of Lakes Entrance. Amazing to wake up to the sounds of kookaburras, cows and other wildlife. Comfortable bed and loung suite.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we did enjoy it. The cabin was nice and clean. The only thing got me worried when we got there was too many baby spiders! I found one on me when I was half asleep in our room. Then found another one in the shower! Got me worried all night, hoping there’s no spider in our son’s room and thank goodness there wasn’t any! It was so nice and quiet the first couple nights but the last night was noisy with cow noise and birds etc. Overall it was nice and peaceful and we did have a very good time staying here.

A much needed mini getaway which met all of our expectations. Country Cottages is peaceful, cottages are comfortable, so clean, everything you need in them, even all linen is provided. I really don't want to go home, (yes we are still here while writing this review). The cost is very reasonable and the owners so friendly, bird life is fantastic. I really can't fault this place. We will be back for sure.
