Been travelling for 4 months throughout all of southeast Asia and this is by far the worst place I've been to. Filthy lobby that smells weed and feet, and the rooms were just as dirty. We stayed there for several nights and they didn't ever clean the bathroom. They said it was free Wi-Fi but it wasn't. DON'T GO HERE!!!

The room was absolutely disgusting, it smelt horrible, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the drawers would not open, one was broken. The door looked very damaged too. The bathroom had a very unclean toilet, a sink with no soap or nothing to try your hands with and an extremely unclean shower. There was also phone numbers graffiti'd on the...

We spent one night in this place, well located and with reasonable price for the season. it's a little bit old dated but everything is here and the men we saw gave us some prolific clues... so if you don't find somewhere to sleep in St kilda, Oslo hostel (with too many rooms) could be an option.

I have stayed in many places whilst travelling (good and bad) but unfortunately this one was the worst!! The whole place is dark and dingy and the room itself was terrible! The carpet was disgusting, worn bed sheets and the room smelled like Damp and Weed! I didn't even stay the night I went hunting for a nearby backpackers! This...

Last minute booking for overnight stay close to city for an event, and found this hostel on a hostel booking site. Made the mistake of not reading reviews before booking. Booked private room for 3. When we checked in, there was no blankets on beds, was told they would bring them up during the day for us. We arrived back...

We had a really comfy and quiet double room, fully equipped. Hostel is clean and quiet. John, the manager, is more than lovely! Prices are really cheap too. Well located near a tramway station that goes directly in cbd! Everything' good. Love that combo!

We've been travelling for a while, and we slept in a lot of backpackers, but honestly, i signed up on TripAdvisor, just to warn people: NEVER BOOK HERE! I know some comments sas that "it's not that bad", but seriously what's not "that bad" about dirty pillows? Bed full of stains that look like someone pissed in it? A HOLE...

I find this review very disturbing. There are photos here of other rooms from our premises and that I feel this is an invasion of peoples privacy in our building. It looks like they walked around looking to take photos of everything they could see or rooms they could get into to put on trip advisor. It looks like this...

It's my 6 times (yes!) I come in that hotel! It is so well located, near the beach, near Ackland street, with all the trams to go to the city! I always found myself very welcomed by the staff. The room they give me is clean, and correspond just at what we can need. And if I need something else......

We checked in at 12:00 and left at 12:10 it was the most disgusting place we've ever seen! Dingy and dirty and just a complete mess! Our room was so dark and the bed wasn't made properly literally just looked like the person in before had thrown the duvet on and that was that! Definatly not clean! The reception area...

I dont believe that a person who didnt stay at our hotel has the right to write such a scathing and critical review about our premises. It was a busy time at the hotel and it would be appreciated if there were problems to come to management and get them sorted out. Maybe the room wasnt ready by mistake and...

...so it's not glamorous by any means, it's pretty dated and a bit dingy but if you go with this in mind it's actually an alright place to say and you do get clean sheets and the bathrooms are clean. We ended up loving it here and extending our stay the staff are great if you're nice to them and...
