Review: 1)Great location as hotel is not even five minutes walk from the speed boat jetty. 2)Hotel is just a minute away from bikini beach which is one of the most loved spot for tourist 3)There is Maafushi dive centre five minutes walk from the hotel 4)Family Room located at group floor opposite reception and rooms with ocean facing view are great however do not stay in room number #204 even if you get it at very cheap rate because room number 204 is not much used by the hotel and has a strange smell in the room for which hotel places diffuser in the room but its of no use. Window of the room is broken and it's not a good choice to stay in it. I had to stay there because on the last day of my stay, hotel was booked to capacity and as my plan was made last minute, I had to stay in that room. 5)Kalaam who is guest Relationship officer will be your one point of contact and is very helpful. He will ensure you have excellent stay in Maldives. 6)They have a point of contact at male airport who's name is Ibrahim who will be at airport to welcome you.
Tips: 1)Try and book flights which land in morning or in afternoon as there is no transfer available at night or late evening to Maafushi from male 2)per way hotel will charge $20 for transfer to Maafushi from male for each person. 3)Due to covid, RT PCR test is mandatory to travel to Maldives and it is compulsory to get the test done while leaving from Maldives. I suggest you get the test done at Male or hulhumale instead of Maafushi as there is huge difference in cost of RT PCR test. In Maafushi they will charge you $90 or $ 100 where as in Male or hulhumale they wil charge you $75 and you can walk in directly to any hospital and get the test done rather than paying extra by getting test done through hotels.

I travelled with family of 2 + 2 children. I booked standard room hoping to opt for upgrade or extra bed upon arrival. However, the hotel manager Ms.Donti despite rooms fully occupied graciously offered free upgrade to bigger room with extra bed. We are very thankful to Ms.Donti for her hospitality, love, kindness and empathy shown. She embraced us as a family and looked after our needs with utmost care. We stayed comfortably for 3 days at this place with easy access to beautiful beach, water sports, restaurants and other amenities all around the place. Super satisfied. Thanks Salt Beach and Maafushi people for making our trip memorable.

The room was basic but clean. Breakfast is simple, but tasty. Eggs are available on demand. Coffee is only the instant variety, but that seems the standard in the Maldives. The staff are amazing and very friendly. Always ready to help. Housekeeping is great and accomodating. Location is nice, right on the beachfront. Bikini beach is a short walk away.
We also booked some trips through them, which were reasonably priced and well organized. Would definitely recommend.

Ich rate von ab. Bucht lieber im Triton Hotel. Das Lunchpaket wurde besprochen und dann wurden doch andere Sachen aufgetischt. Die Fotos muss man sich selbst raussuchen weil die zu faul sind das nach Personen zu sortieren. Funktioniert auf der Insel bei anderen Anbietern 1000 mal besser für das gleiche Geld. Auch die Qualität der gemachten Bilder und Videos ist schlecht. Nicht die Auflösung aber die getroffenen Motive. Unsere eigenen Videos und Fotos sind wesentlich schönere Motive. Wie gesagt ich empfehl andere. Bei denen waren auch die Bilder und Videos richtig gut.

I advise against it. It is better to book at the Triton Hotel. The packed lunch was discussed and then other things were served. You have to look for the photos yourself because they are too lazy to sort them by person. Works 1000 times better for the same money with other providers on the island. The quality of the pictures and videos taken is also bad. Not the resolution, but the motifs. Our own videos and photos are much nicer motifs. As I said, I recommend others. Their pictures and videos were also really good.

Yesterday we had a very good experience with Salt Beach on the nurse shark excursion. From the beginning, the team was completely honest with us about the weather conditions. They informed us that due to the irregular weather, they could not guarantee that we would see and do all the points of the planned excursion. Hotel is in good location and the complimentary breakfast is great. But lack of drinking water supply was not expected. We had to buy mineral water several times. AC was small and it's not good enough for a deluxe room. A good side is there is a balcony attached with the room.

Super location and value for money stay . The hotel is near to ferry terminal and near to bikini beach.
Also they have excursions readily available just outside the hotel.
Do carry own food if you are vegetarian. Family room is very spacious and hotel is clean .

The room is ok and clean. Food is ok but you can get better. The hotel is very near to the jetty and beach front. What i love the most, is the excursion team. Best team ever! I've been on 3 different exercusion team and i can tell you that salt beach team is the best. Yes, look for Kalam for all the packages that they have. The team is very accomodative and friendly. They took lots of good shots for us! I will definitely go with them again!

1) It is best to ask your hotel for a visit to a resort. Maafushi is a native island. Depending on the resort you want to visit, the prices are different. There are still 23% taxes added to the price.
2) There are several on Maafushi that offer snorkeling and diving. We did a snorkel trip for $ 25 a person with gear, 3 snorkeling spots, sandbank with picnic and were lucky enough to see dolphins. Special dinner - please ask your guesthouse. The trips were very nice and once we drove, also for $ 25 per person, for sunset night fishing - the caught fish were then prepared and served to the group.
