Beautiful experience, The property is on the beach and bikini beach is 5 minutes walking. Food was also delicious and Staff was amazing they were polite and Friendly. All staff are from srilanka and they were very friendly. Indians must stays here if visiting Maafhushi maldives.

Velana Beach Hotel was amazing! The room had an amazing views! The Velana team! One word WOOOOW!! Thanks to chef Sumith for the delicious food…and the Sri Lankan curry (if I could I would have it every single day). The lovely gentlemen with the big smile always ready to assist. Our wonderful housekeeper who helped us until the end. I mean it doesn’t hurt that Velana Beach is located in Maafushi, such a beautiful island with legit island life vibes, simple and carefree. Thank you soooooo much to Velana Beach team, you are absolutely the best, warm smiles, with the “can do” spirit and extra mile service. I will definitely be back!

We have booked a deluxe room & stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. The deluxe room is so pathetic and is a black box i.e. a window on the ground floor, which u cant open since its a gallery facing. So all the time u hv to rely on power since no light will come from anywhere. Upon asking hotel management, they were casual about it & told nothing can be done, pay us money and will give better room. There were frequent power cuts so one can imagine the sad affairs of this room. TV was not working for the first 2 days, upon multiple requests they changed the TV. Worth to mention they had moved us to the next building stating the hotel is full. P.S: No lift facility, no intercom, no in-house dining Stay away from this hotel for peace of mind since in the same price range there are many good hotels.…

Our 4 days was been amazing me and my bestfriend really enjoyed! The staffs are very accommodating even the Managers and the Reception (i forgot the name) but she's lovely. They've been very attentive and giving us best suggestions on the tours, foods & restaurant to go too. We are very shock on our last day as we checked out at 12:30pm yet gave us a room to stay too until 4:30pm as our boat will leave at 5pm. I can say they really care for their costumers❤️ I would really recommend this hotel, KUDOS💕

During our delightful 4-night stay at this velana hotel, we were impressed by the proactive communication from the staff even prior to our reservation. They promptly addressed all our inquiries and made us feel valued from the start. The warm hospitality extended by the entire staff was truly remarkable. Upon our arrival, despite the late hour and the restaurant being closed, the chef graciously prepared a delicious dinner for us. Additionally, their generosity in allowing us to remain on the premises until our evening flight demonstrated their commitment to ensuring a pleasant experience. The inclusive breakfast provided during our stay was good. The quality of the food surpassed expectations and proved to be an excellent start to each day. Came here for a holiday trip in July. Hotel staff was there to welcome us in the shore bay when we have arrived and departed as well and they took care of our luggage. Check-in process was easy and there was welcome drink along with a fresh towel. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel premises. It’s very fast feels like 5g. Room size is similar to studio apartment, it’s clean, comfy and cute. Ambient lights are also really nice. TV is BIG but if channels was arranged/labelled properly it would have been better. There is A/C and fan but felt the A/C could have been better. The bathroom is also really nice and hygiene. They provide body wash and shampoo. But there weren’t any toothpaste, toothbrush, sanitizer and carpet on floor. Service is just awesome. I would give 7star’s just for the behaviour of hotel staffs. They were very welcoming, friendly, polite and had professionalism. They have pampered us very well. Even the manager is really nice. We have opted for breakfast/dinner. It will be a buffet American style breakfast and Asian/Indonesian style dinner which I felt really awesome. I just eat as much I can. And we had received an Ala carte menu on Sunday. My partner loved their panna cotta dessert. I would recommend to have lunch from local restaurants. One hour ride from airport to Maafushi and we get all we need in this Island. The local people are very welcoming and friendly. Everyone minding their own business. And we felt very safe even during night time. I really loved near by restaurant named Simili’s they have the best fish and chips. Overall, I would say it’s small cute Hotel with 4-star service. Do sit on the swing in their beautiful garden. Lovely staff, super caring and nice. The room was beautiful, comfortable and had an incredible view of the local beach. The area was very quiet at night so the only thing we could hear was the sound of the waves. Overall a great experience. We will come back for sure.

Best thing about Velana Beach resort is , it is on beach side and at same time quite place on island. Hotel staff is just amazing. they are always happy to assist you and food was great, which makes it a perfect t resort for your stay. I am glad that I have selected this resort for my stay.
