Our 4 days was been amazing me and my bestfriend really enjoyed! The staffs are very accommodating even the Managers and the Reception (i forgot the name) but she's lovely. They've been very attentive and giving us best suggestions on the tours, foods & restaurant to go too.
We are very shock on our last day as we checked out at 12:30pm yet gave us a room to stay too until 4:30pm as our boat will leave at 5pm. I can say they really care for their costumers❤️

Amazing 5 days in our vacation. First of all ,hotel is located most lively island in Maldives, everything is nearby,restaurants, supermarkets and bikini beach as well .We had very comfortable room with sea view and staff there were so kind ,polite made us feel like we are at home .Big thanks to each and everyone. They were always ready to assist us with everything, they recommended few restaurants for dinner ,shisha places and booked for us all activities(snorkeling, parasailing, fishing e.t.c)with good prices and really good team. Best value for money. Better than going for resorts.

From the beginning of our short vacation till the end, we were treated so well! Our luggage was picked up by the staff. We decided to walk to the guest house and Rimzan was kind enough to accompany us. Our room was ready by standard check in time 2 pm but again, but they were kind enough to let us freshen up in a vacant room. Throughout the entire stay we were very well taken care of and all our needs were met. Breakfast buffet and the serving time could have been a little better but the lunch and dinner buffet was absolutely delicious. The Balinese girls, Aravind from HK and the girls working at IB do their job with a lot of love and are very generous :)

The rooms are just about all right. I think they need some upgrades and fresh paint. We were on the 3rd floor and views from our room were great. This hotel is away from the cluster of hotels at Maafushi where Kaani hotels and Arena hotels are so does not feel touristy. The breakfast is the same everyday and is mediocre. They have just one cleaner across the rooms so it takes time to clean the rooms so once you come back from dives around noon your room may be still dirty.
They have lockers for all the rooms but rooms on the top floor have an old
Staff is reasonably helpful. Wifi does not work 50% of the time.

It was a good start, picked us up from the port, welcome drinks and allowed us to check in early. But moly! I took a shower and saw the towel with these brown spots (see photo), looking closely yes its what you think it is! I almost threw up. And on top of that, the hotel said we did not pay for the speedboat when we clearly did with the driver, the manager kept harassing us and told us that we have to pay again. We had to go back and forth to the speedboat office to settle it because of their lack of coordination. The rooms are very dirty and dated. Its not soundproof so you can hear the banging of the doors next door that will definitely wake you up. The showers water flow is very limited. Oh and the wifi is not working throughout our stay! The cellular signal is very weak as well! This is such a disaster that we changed hotel after some time cause we cant stand it! The air conditioning also is too weak it doesn’t stand a chance against Maldives heat. I woke up multiple times at night because I was sweating.Mediocre breakfast options. The only good part is the dinner that is included when you book a half or full board package, it is nicely presented, taste is average but worth the value. This hotel needs lots of improvements from their service to their facilities! If you want to have a stress-free vacation, stay away from this hotel!

We have booked a deluxe room & stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. The deluxe room is so pathetic and is a black box i.e. a window on the ground floor, which u cant open since its a gallery facing. So all the time u hv to rely on power since no light will come from anywhere.
Upon asking hotel management, they were casual about it & told nothing can be done, pay us money and will give better room. There were frequent power cuts so one can imagine the sad affairs of this room. TV was not working for the first 2 days, upon multiple requests they changed the TV. Worth to mention they had moved us to the next building stating the hotel is full.
P.S: No lift facility, no intercom, no in-house dining
Stay away from this hotel for peace of mind since in the same price range there are many good hotels.

The room is dirty, covered in mold. Because of this, it just has a terrible smell. All the furniture is dilapidated. The price of $150 dollars per day for it is unreasonable. It does not correspond to a 4 star hotel, there is no elevator, it is a guesthouse, which has a red price of $50. The neighbors' air conditioner was making a lot of noise and was apparently faulty, making it impossible to sleep. The safe was not attached to the wall. If you don't want to ruin your vacation, then don't stay here.

The room is spacious and clean. We are here celebrating our anniversary. They prepared lovely bed decoration and desserts with 'Happy Anniversary' words plating during our candle light dinner. Their designs of the candle light dinner is amazing. We really loved it. Besides, the food are very delicious. All the staff from the hotel are very friendly and caring. Manager is very helpful as well who assisted to arrange the surprise and accommodate all of our requests 😍. Thank you all for the excellent service provided!! We will definitely recommend this hotel.

During our delightful 4-night stay at this velana hotel, we were impressed by the proactive communication from the staff even prior to our reservation. They promptly addressed all our inquiries and made us feel valued from the start. The warm hospitality extended by the entire staff was truly remarkable. Upon our arrival, despite the late hour and the restaurant being closed, the chef graciously prepared a delicious dinner for us. Additionally, their generosity in allowing us to remain on the premises until our evening flight demonstrated their commitment to ensuring a pleasant experience. The inclusive breakfast provided during our stay was good. The quality of the food surpassed expectations and proved to be an excellent start to each day. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, accommodating staff, and delightful culinary offerings.

The room is very neat, clean, organized and affordable. Service is totally fabulous, everything is on time. The balcony view from this hotel was fantastic. In this hotel that there are no elevators and you will have to walk all the way to your room. They also provide cycle which are available from morning to evening 6pm. The breakfast was OK but can be improved. Velena has it's own watersports package to offer also other watersport centers are nearby. Special thanks to Rimzan, Reena and Aarvind.

2. TV is there in the room.
There are more places to choose from in the Maafushi Island area.
