Detailed Reviews
My first trip to maafushi and the hotel lea spa hotel is great place to stay and experience.
The friendly staff from the reception to restaurant is excellent.
The room is really clean, comfortable bed. A small mini bar with a complimentary water bottle and coffee is really great. The hallway is clean and always smells very nice and refreshing.
The roof top restaurant is very clean and food and drinks taste great and the sunset view is a great time to enjoy dinner with the sun kiss the ocean view.
The reception is very clean and well organized with any requests from the guests. Maya always smiles and checks the if the guests needs any assistance to book excursions, etc..
Maya is wonderful staff who really try upselling the rooms, promote the restaurant. I feel like she a great asset to the hotel management.
Rakeeb the room boy is very friendly and nice to talk with.
My stay from 21st August to 22nd August in room 206 is memory which will always be remembered and i will definitely be back to this hotel.

The above picture is an example of an exemplary and courteous service with a personal touch of Lea spa and their staff which we witnessed throughout our stay (From 14th Oct to 17th Oct via booking.com). Supervisor Jerry was kind enough to send this cake at midnight as a sweet surprise on my wife’s birthday which we will always remember. Staff and their hospitality both are at its best. Candle light dinner arranged by server Shardul was something to look forward at the restaurant upstairs. We highly recommend this hotel and it’s corner room for the best sea facing view which can be enjoyed seated in the balcony with sun kissed Maldivian weather, THANK YOU LEA SPA for making it a memorable one!!!

+1
Our 4 nights stay in Lea Spa Hotel with its boho interior and beach view was charming. The location, near everything, made it convenient. Maya, the receptionist, was dedicated and helpful. However, housekeeping and F&B could use some improvement. Expanding breakfast options would be a nice touch.

See my review for Masfushi Dive Center, but the main issue here is the marketing. This is a perfectly safe, reasonable hotel, but it is mostly a level above a hostel. If advertised as a budget dive accommodation vs a spa hotel, I think the expiations would have been met or exceeded. As is, we ended up checking out after one night because this was a romantic anniversary trip vs a group of friends on a dive education trip. For only slightly more we were able to get a room down the road with reliable internet, aircon, TV, breakfast, a pool, and a much more relaxing room. Again, all things you can do without as long as you’re aware before booking. The only thing that I can say was subpar regardless of marketing was the breakfast and TV. Neither should be included as neither work. The TV was essentially a decoration (no connections to anything) and the breakfast was cold eggs, a custard and bread. I’d prefer to be told there is no breakfast at all. Again, for only slightly more we had a full buffet with dozens of options down the road. From working in the dive industry for years, I know this is a highly competitive environment, and I do not think it serves a business well to over market and under deliver.

Thanks a lot active water sport for recommending this beautiful hotel.
And it is helpful to do activity with active water sport because this guy is very sportive.

Excellent food on a beautiful roof top. Amazing service and the local bats flying overhead early evening . Amazing sunsets and a very varied menu. Our waiter was called shaju pal and he was amazing - so friendly and lots of island recommendations .
We did walk through the hotel and the furnishing looked lovely . Very high end . We have eaten here twice this week and we will be back .
