You definitely can’t have more fun for small money. I spent few days at Shadow Palms and was looking for adventure trips with them. I just need a clean and cooled place and I found it there. All the guys were awesome!

We booked a snorkeltrip at Shadow Palm and it was amazing! We saw some beautiful turtles, fish and dolphins. Also had a great lunch on a beautiful small islands. Ali & the rest of crew were also very friendly and hospital. They did everything to make sure that you’ve seen the turtles, beautiful fish and dolphins. Thanks guys for the great snorkel trip! Weather is a bit rough in Maldives during August, and they cancelled all the trips. They were supposed to answer via whatsapp but they did only after many hours, thank god hour hotel was arranging the trips/excursions (all hotels in Maafushi offer similar trips, so I recommend looking elsewhere if you are going during summer). Lots of cool pictures on Instagram but not reliable

I took a half day snorkeling package from the Shadow Palm in Maafushi Maldives. 1. They managed too many people in one boat about 20 people. There are about 10 people in the other boat. The two boats started the activities. 2. The instructors in both boats were so rude to a guest who is scared from deep and dirty sea. There were many boats in the spot when I returned from snorkeling. I grabbed the handle of one boat among the boats but one of the Shadow Palm instructors yelled to me that you should go to the other boat. The instructor did not notice about my condition but some guests in the boat understood that they should help me. So the guests helped me get into the boat. I was scared of the deep sea and dirty water. They let us go to a certain spot near an island which has long hose. The hose let septic water out from the island. 3. The package includes photoes but they did not have any photo but one blur pic. Even worse the instuctor blamed me that I did not bring cable. He didn't comment about the cable. So my host went home which is far away from the Shadow Palm and brought a cable. I was angry about his attitude. He does not have a mind to help their customer. He likes to make their customer bully. 4. When I returned the other boat the instructor yelled at me "From which country are you from?" But I was really scared and I was biting snorkel gear in my mouth so I couldn't answer. He said you even don't know your nationality? He made fun of me and did yell but no rescue. The people in the boat rescued me. 5. He was talking about the nationality thing all the time. When I was there in the evening they were making fun of me. They thought I don't understand English. They said in front of me "She doesn't know from which country she is from." 6. The instructor in the office that evening didn't take any photo but one. I said to him "You do not have any photo and why do you make fun of me about nationality and the cable thing. I would talk about it to your boss." But he kept blamming on me. He didn't pardon himself about making fun of me about nationality and no photoes for me.

we have just gone back after a week in Maafushi Island and we have stayed at this 2 stars hotel that gives without any doubt a 5 stars service. They are incredibly professional and absolutely easygoing. They just want their guests to be happy and they can make it happen, you can be sure about it! I suggest you to go with them for a full day snorkelling, we did, it was like being in heaven! we enjoyed it so much we went twice! I will never thank them enough for making me feel so at home, thank you, thank you, thank you! it was even better than our honeymoon! if you go to Maldives, choose Maafushi, choose Shadow Palm, you will end up having the time of your life!

First of all the staff is really friendly and helpful, thank you Ali & co.
Location of the hotel is ideal, just next to the tourist beach. Rooms are spacious and clean. TV in the room is nice to have in the quite evenings and not normally found in the hotels on the island.
Breakfast served in the morning is good and enough to keep you 'till lunch.
If I ever strand on Maafushi again, I'm definately staying here!

We had two different snorkeling tours and they were amazing. The crew showed total commitment, were very nice and always on time which you shouldn't take for granted on the maledives. The other organization we had a tour with started it 30 minutes later than it was supposed to. The shadow palm crew tried to make it special for everybody and helped the whole group to get the best experience and a lots of pictures which were free. For example one of our group members couldn't swim so the guide gave her a life jacket and carried her through the water so she could take some pictures with the sharks and dolphins.They prices were totally appropriate probably a little bit too low. I saw so many animals like turtles, crazy fishes, dolphins and even sharks and some corals. And not just from the boat but from the water. I was able to swim with them and the guides took some pictures of me with them. Long story short i highly recommend them and i can do nothing but praise them. Have fun there guys.

The guys from Shadow Palm were amazing. We had the best trips with them, we went to half day snorkeling trip and full day trip. We swam with dolphins, with sharks, we saw turtles and all kind of sea creatures. We had such unique experiences. And thanks to Ali, we have such beautiful photos. So thank you, guys! :*

We've booked all 6 days of our stay in Maafushi with Shadow Palm excursion team. We've booked our airport transfers, all island hopping tours and transfers as well as the snorchelling tour with Shadow Palm. And this was the best decision we could have taken. Always on time. Always smiling. Snorchelling tour was amazing - we watched turtles and dolphins as well as vast variety of marine life and (probably) the best sunset on earth from a sandbank in Indian ocean. Shadow Palm has the most amazing, carring and fun team I've ever met in my travellings around the world. Special thanksto Ali, who took really good care of us during all our stay and who I consider more like a friend, rather than a guide. Thank you Ali, thank you guys. Keep it up!

Shadowpalm also do transfers from Male airport to Maafushi and back. Do you stay at Maafushi island? Maybe it’s best to whatsapp to them: +960 7 621722. His name is Ali.
If you have WhatsApp try and reach them by writing on there.
They are the nicest and very professional at shadow palm so they should get back to you.
But try WhatsApp texting them on there
