Truly liked this hotel and its services. I am writing this review in comparison to a beach view hotel on Maafushi where I stayed earlier. So I found this hotel very affordable, yet good in many terms. I stayed in room with balcony on first floor. The room size was quite good as compared to other hotels here, bed was large enough to accommodate my kid with us very easily. Mattress super comfortable. The electric sockets were having universal adapter in them, a big plus point. The wifi worked great ,no issue in video calls.They provided with make up mirror, hair dryer in bathroom. It was nice to have separate wet and dry area in bathroom. The balcony provided ample morning and afternoon sunlight which really helped in drying the swimwear. Moreover it also provided the view of swimming pool. The swimming pool is small, but was good option in sunny afternoon. Water was clean. Breakfast consists of bread, omelette, butter,jam, waffle/pancakes,mashuni (local fish receipe), roshi (like Indian roti), one curry dish ( like chickpea, beans, potato). On request the chef made us delicious Allo parantha also.So the breakfast was fulfilling. Regarding the surrounding, it is far from graveyard, as mentioned in one of earlier review. Instead I liked the adjacent area as there is a famous bakery ,Fine Bake by Suzy, must try , it is just on the lane as you move from hotel towards the beach. There was ATM on that lane, a football ground, a supermart store for anything you can need, a beach clothing shop with all accessories, everything you require on one lane. The beach is at a walking distance, a leisurely walk of about 8 min, in morning and evening use the main lane by the sea, there is a wonderful cool breeze and in afternoon use the inside lane as it is more shaded. There is a terrace at third floor which give a beautiful view of Indian ocean , there are loungers there also, perfect for star gazing at night. There is a pool table, some indoor games and a collection of books also at third floor. Overall it was a wonderful stay in this hotel,would definitely come back. The hotel arranged our speed boat also,perfectly on time. Thanks to all the staff there for making our vacation memorable.

Arun , leshma & promise thanks to you all for making our stay comfortable & homely. We are overwhelmed by the services provided by you all. For others: They have amazing customer service,staff were waiting in the jetty in Male for pickup and received us at Maafushi took us to the property served welcome drink, rooms are specious neat and clean recommended for budget visitors.

The staff is nice, the wifi is okay but not strong always, the breakfast was usually good, but there are so many flies around the eating and swimming areas. They should do something about that as it disrupts the entire experience. The massage was lovely but the spa is not a real, equipped spa, but rather one little empty hotel room. The don't have real coffee, but rather that cheap instant stuff, so everyday I'd have to go out and pay for coffee. The pool is tiny so it can get crowded and there are only 4 lounge chairs and they are hard as a rock. Putting cushions on them and offering beach towels for swimming would be nice. You need to come with quite a bit of cash because there is an extra charge if you pay with a credit card, which is inconvenient. They arrange boat transfer to and from the airport, which is helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Aquzz inn and Spa. The hotel is clean, spacious and ideally located nearby to the beach, shops and restaurants on Maafushi. The best aspect for us is how family-friendly the hotel is. We were travelling with our two-year-old daughter and the staff were just wonderful with her – super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are great, very well air conditioned and the cleaning service is brilliant with bedsheets changed daily. We would recommend this hotel to other families and will definitely stay again when we return to Maafushi.

We had the greatest experience AQUZZ INN Hotel in Maafushi, Maldives. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the manager Mr. Arun , who is in charge of the unforgettable trips to the nearby resorts and adventures with the sharks and dolphins.Even the cleaning staff were eager to help. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. We spent the best holiday in our life and I highly reccomend his hotel for everyone visiting Maldives.

I deeply regret recounting a disheartening array of issues during our stay at the hotel:
Upon arrival, our assigned room was not only in a state of severe disrepair but also shockingly unclean. Despite a room change, persistent problems like a leaking toilet and malfunctioning air conditioning plagued our experience. Maintenance interventions, notably during planned fishing excursions, only heightened our frustration. Things that were mentioned in the folder are not even true, plus they lied about the constitution that was going on above our room, they promised that it will stop in the weekend but never did. Plus what bothered me was that the towels are not fresh and hygiene is far far from the norm.
Dinner, scheduled at 20:00, was hindered by our aversion to spicy Indian cuisine, and the sleeping conditions were marred by disruptive noise, slamming doors, and inconsiderate fellow guests. Efforts to engage with the director for resolution were met with disappointment, as our concerns remained unaddressed.
Scheduled activities faced setbacks, with delays and cancellations affecting a half-day excursion and a fishing trip due to a broken engine and adverse weather conditions. The subsequent request for a payment totaling 610 USD seemed disproportionate, leading us to cut our stay short after the second day.
The half-day trip to Gulhi Island, conducted on an aged and sluggish boat, offered unappealing surroundings with an unpleasant odor. Promised photographs and videos of our experience were not delivered, intensifying our disappointment. Hand-fishing proved unproductive and induced seasickness amid high waves.
Despite these challenges, it's important to commend a responsive woman who earnestly sought to rectify our grievances. Additionally, Mr. K's consistent politeness and assistance, especially in facilitating our return from the hotel to the boat, were notable. Unfortunately, despite these positive interactions, our honeymoon experience concluded on an unsatisfactory note, leaving us profoundly disheartened and dissatisfied with the overall quality of our stay.

Aquzz Inn and Spa is a very nice place with friendly and helpful staff Arun and Leeshma. They can organise tours and help you with any questions you may have about the Maldives. The tours are well organised and include snorkling equipment, towels, water and everything you need.
The rooms are comfortable and they are cleaned daily. The breakfast is buffet and very tasty. Lunch and dinner is available as well. On the rooftop is also a nice sea facing.
The local beach and the bikini beach is 5 minutes walk away and other places, like restaurants, shops or dive center are nearby. The ferry/boat jetty ist also only a few minutes walking distance away.

We recently stayed at Aquzz Hotel Maafushi, and let me tell you, it was a delightful experience. My husband and I were greeted with genuine warmth by the staff, who went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Our room, complete with a balcony, was both elegant and inviting, offering a splendid view of the island.
The candlelight dinner on the beach was a throwback to the romantic evenings of yesteryears, with excellent food and a charming atmosphere. The couple's spa treatment was a much-needed indulgence, thoroughly relaxing and well executed.
The sunset cruise was a serene journey, reminding us of the simple joys of life. And snorkeling in the clear Maldivian waters was a refreshing adventure, reconnecting us with nature.
Aquzz Hotel Maafushi struck a perfect balance between modern luxury and the timeless charm of hospitality. It's an ideal getaway for those who appreciate the finer things in life, coupled with a touch of adventure. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Aquzz Inn and Spa is a Very clean hotel and extremely helpful and friendly staff. The room didn't have a seaview but it didn't bother us at all, as we hardly stayed in it. Everyday someone came to clean the room, make the beds and change all the towels.
We had breakfast in the hotel and that was amazing !
The hotel offerd a selection of trips. We went to a luxury island for a day and snorkeling. We all enjoyed it a lot.

We stayed 8 nights and everything was great! Aquzz Inn & Spa is the hotel with the best location in Maafushi . For a very reasonable price you get a room . I think this is one of the most affordable hotels and islands in Maldives. The staff is very friendly, they are always near to help you. Leeshma & Arun helped us a lot when we were in the hotel restaurant and it was very interesting to learn smth new about local life.
Speaking about the drawbacks: - the hotel breakfasts could include more fruit and porridge - I’d recommend to visit Maldives in summer cause in winter it may be more expensive and crowded
