We visit Margaret River Farmstay regularly as it provides the perfect getaway for couples with a dog. There is nothing to want for - everything is provided and it is fabulous to be able to walk amongst the trees and the animals with such freedom. It is convenient without being in the centre of the busy tourist town. The staff... More

Thank you soooo much Toni. It's great to hear of such enthusiasm for our collective efforts. Vinnie & Lisa have done a great job in bringing the property up to the standard we now enjoy and we know that we've got something of which we can be very proud. Still, there's more to be done and we're looking forward to... More

We stayed 2 nights at the farm. It was fantastic for our girls (age 3 and 5) to experience the animals roaming around and to have the opportunity to feed the lambs, alpacas, emus, chickens and cows. Farmer Vinny patiently answered all our questions and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cottage we stayed in was clean and... More

Thank you Claire. We've owned the property for 8 years and have more than doubled the accommodation whilst retaining the same average occupancy. To my way of thinking, this is an indication that people who live in cities have an increasing wish to reconnect with the country. We don't farm in the true sense, keeping most of our animals until... More

My family of 2 kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage! The place is very clean and comfortable. The farm animals were free to roam around the compound, making it very enjoyable and interactive for my kids. It was a delightful stay!

We had the best holiday here. It's the second time we have stayed here. The kids loved it! Best family holiday. Vinnie and Lisa are absolutely lovely. The house was clean and we all loved the animals roaming around. This place is not only for families. We loved the privacy. Can't wait to stay here again. I would totally recommend... More

What a wonderful stay we had for 4 nights with our two daughters aged 5 & 7. Our 2 bed studio was incredible. Well appointed, modern, super comfy beds, reverse cycle aircon, large bathroom/shower, living and outdoor area/BBQ etc... An enclosed picket fenced yard is great for securing your pet dog if you decide to bring them along. Trust me,... More

Many thanks Rebecca for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I'm reminded of a mum who wrote several years ago that her young daughter had said that she wished she was a chicken so she could stay here forever. We know, without any shadow of doubt, that if the kids are happy, the parents will be happy.... More

We stayed at a standard cottage with a queen bed room and twin bedded room. The cottage was well maintained and had a well stocked kitchen. The basic offering of 1 breakfast for the next morning was more than adequate for us. The toilet in the cottage was actually very well furnished, beyond what we expected to have in a... More

In respect of the other farm staff member, this is young Dean who fulfils a part-time role. Dean, who lives in the old studio with his dog, has said that he couldn't think of a better place to wake at each morning. We're encouraging him to be seen more and it seems he's doing just that! Many thanks for your... More

We were a family of 10 pax. We truly enjoyed the stay in the farm. Firstly, thanks Vinnie for waiting us to check us in as we had arrived later than the estimated time. He was so friendly and even walked us to another cottage that we had booked. To be honest, it was scary to walk at night as... More

Welcome to our world where, at night, you can enjoy the stars without the distraction of lights. That said, I've stumbled around myself and recognise that some international visitors would like to carry a torch. But then again, we're about providing a natural experience in the Australian countryside, where guests can extend themselves in new surroundings. Thank you for your... More

Just came back from this fabulous farm. We stay at cottage no. 1. It's looks simple from outside but inside was beautiful design. The only problems is the heater will automatic turn off after running for few hours. It's make the room become cold. We were 2 adults and our 2 daughter age 8 and 4. They really enjoyed the... More

Thanks Vincent. Our winter's can be a challenge for some and I understand that visitors from Singapore find it to be cold. We are, however, very conscious of the environment in Margaret River and we locals tend to dress in warmer clothing, rather than running the air-conditioning 24/7. I will, however, give consideration to what we can do. Thank you... More

Free roaming Alpacas, chickens and large grounds to roam and take morning walks. One can't ask for more. We were three families of 15, took two different 3 bedroom cottages and totally enjoyed our stay.
