We went with another family. There was plenty of room for 2 families. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The kids had fun running outside. It is in a great location. Sheila the owner was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a look.

We stayed at Blue Wren for 4 days in November and loved the tranquil setting. Saw many wrens and Kangaroos. Cottage was well equipped, clean and modern, the bed were comfortable....best nights sleep in ages! Saw no-one but heard wood chopping in early morning........ Shame there was no wood for the fire, as we had two unseasonably cold evenings.....The spare...

Hello Sarah Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. I am delighted you all had a great stay. Yes, this unseasonal weather caught us on the hop. What a pity you did not send me a text as I did still have some firewood tucked away, having cleared it away from the buildings before bushfire season. Would...

We booked the lodge for 4 nights to celebrate our sons 21st birthday. We were so thankful that Sheila would lets us hold the party at the lodge. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our son and his friends had an amazing weekend exploring the region and a very successful party on the Saturday night with no noise restrictions...

We stayed in the lovely Kookaburra Chalet for 5 days for a quiet and peaceful experience. Mr. Blue Wren and his harem greeted us at the front door on the first day. There were no sounds of civilization to be heard to overpower nature's beautiful song birds. The layout of the chalet is very spacious and comfortable. We regretted that...

Stayed in the lodge. Three families. Twelve in total. Great location for Margaret River. Peaceful. Everything is max an hour away. We found lighting the fire at night and using the games room ideal and the large dining table was great. Went for five nights came home feeling we been away for ten.

Amazingly cosy and warm up, home made bread , beautiful drive to location, absolute serenity, perfect hub for caves and Cape Leeuwin, and friendly, accommodating and prompt staff. We stayed for 2 nights in the Kookaburra Chalet which we essentially used as a Hub for exploring the beautiful region, the chalet is surrounded by beautiful gardens in deep in the...

We had a two night stay in Blue Wren. The chalet was well equipped with everything we could have wanted. We had a wonderful time - we needed the time to escape from our busy lifestyle and Blue Wren gave us exactly that. It's close to Margaret River but we didn't want to or need to go there or anywhere....

My wife and I had a short (2 night) stay at " Kookaburra" chalet and what a lovely experience it was.Firstly let me say if your looking for all the mod cons of a "resort" then this is not the place for you. On the other hand if you're looking for a quiet, secluded getaway then this is definately the...

Not a great first impression when you drive up to the Chalet (kookaburra) and are greeted with a gazebo in desperate need of some maintenance, along with some very worn and tired looking outdoor furniture. The unit was relatively clean, good linen and a well equipped kitchen, but was certainly let down with worn and dated decor, a washing machine...

It is unfortunate that Chelsea's response completely contradicts ALL reviews that we have had this year! While Chelsea was correct, we had overlooked the state of the chairs in the gazebo, after a severe winter that included flood damage, they have been immediately replaced. The short power cut was due to high winds and the washing machine had simply not had...

I am embarrassed that up till now, I have not found time to respond to the great reviews we have had in recent months and we appreciate the time people have taken to comment and help us to continually improve. Our thanks to the guests who have taken this time. Some of the lovely comments in the chalet guest book...
