We stayed here for 4 days in January. It is an excellent place if you are looking for value for your money. Great service.....we asked for a king bed and were told "no problem". Granted it is not all new but it is in excellent condition and spotlessly clean, a real credit to the owners. We have stayed in various...

We stay here annually as part of a Motorsport event held in Palmerston North. The hosts Wayne & Sylvia are lovely people, friendly & always helpful. We stay here as the event fills the city and it's rare to find new accomodation elsewhere due to demand. The rooms are dated, beds that old and not very supportive, the furnishings in...

We stayed here on our way to dog trials in Masterton. Easy and convenient for us as we were travelling from Ohakune and Palmerston North was a good option. Convenient too as we went to Masterton via the Pahiatua Track. Clean and comfortable and good on them for waiting up for us as it was almost 10pm before we arrived...

Good points: 1. The room is very clean (and at the end of the day, that is the most important thing on an overnight business trip) 2. The host (gentleman) was very receptive. I unexpectedly ended up in Palmerston North for the night and called one hour before arriving to book a room. On the phone they were co-operative and...

Nice motel wee bit dated but very handy location and great hosts. I had a room off the main road which was really quite quiet - maybe rooms nearer main road would be noisier? This is a one level motel - no carrying bags upstairs

As last minute late night callers we were very surprised by the quality of this accommodation which backs onto a delightful small park . We sat late in the evening thinking of nothing watching nothing go by and woke the following morning refreshed to leave early. They coffee and tea provided far surpassed some four star accommodations we'd stayed in

I was booked to stay here for work as my regular motel was full. Rooms are very small and cramped, the room I was originally booked into, the bed was very soft however I was moved at request. However being told by the host that was his bed before he moved in there creeped me out a bit. The rooms...

This is a pleasant property - no frills but suitable for me as a business traveler. The owners/managers are really friendly and ensure that the units are extremely clean. The motel is within 15 - 20 minutes from the town centre.

Our choice was driven by the pet friendly offering. Just remember you actually need to contact them for permission first (that note is not obvious on the booking site and the owner was quite grumpy with me about that). Rooms are clean and pleasant enough (with double bed in one and two singles in the other bedroom). Decent sized sitting...
