Quiet and relaxing home near the city center. The rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated and so is the rest of the house as well. The host is such an amazing and friendly person and very welcoming! He's also very knowledgeable about activities and places to visit in New Zealand so make sure to ask him for tips. Will definitely...

I am gay, I am comfortable with other gays. Te Manapouri is my home away from home when I am in The Manawatu. Classic home, in a quality street, exotic decorations, the complimentary breakfast is superb, the amenities of the highest quality. Oh, and did I mention that 'mine host' is damned good too. Truly a man of many talents.

Room was excellent and very comfortable, great breakfast on offer to get your day off to a good start. Thank you Rudyard for your hospitality and friendship, the tree lined avenue was just beautiful and in a nice quiet area, but not far from the centre of town.

Nice B&B, located in a quite residential area but close to the business district. The accommodations are great, clean, stylish and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. A relaxing place to be after all that hectic travelling. I would stay again.

What a find Te Manapouri proved to be. My partner and I, together with an overseas guest, discovered this 'very special location' almost by accident while seeking somewhere to stopover beyond Wellington, but not too far to drive after a long flight. Rudyard, mine host, runs an interesting facility with a quality yet homely ambiance, excellent breakfast and, perhaps the...

We had a great stay in this lovely well restored house filled with interesting collections of photographs, furniture and pottery. Rudyard is a great host who is well travelled with interesting stories to tell. Palmerston North is filled with plenty of bland and tacky motels so this was a wonderful experience set in a quiet leafy street
