Had dinner at this hotel. Food was fresh and delicious. Good sized meals. Good variety of meals available. Staff friendly and helpful. Service quick even though the restaurant was full. Would recommend.

Lots of variety on the menu, changing blackboard, there is something for every budget, friendly staff and boss Karl, very clean, delicious meals. You can either dine in for lunch or dinner, just as a couple or with a large group.

Good, clean accommodation with comfortable beds for $65 per night. Bar and restaurant downstairs which definitely add to the attraction of the hotel as a whole. Cheapest place in Thames and well used. Highly recommended

We stayed here for a night and it was really interesting, the pub has been done up and the accommodation rooms have really eclectic memorabilia items in each of them as well as along the walls. A great source of local history. The rooms are clean and tidy and comfortable. I wished we had of eaten downstairs in the restaurant...

Due to atrocious weather we were stranded in Thames. We managed thankfully to get accommodation at The Junction. 80 dollars for a twin for the one night... not bad. As others have said a bit dated but clean and cosy from the elements outside. Plenty of tea and coffee, great wifi, and a good restaurant downstairs, although a little pricey....

Several friends had recommended the Junction as the "in" place to eat at in Thames now. Saturday night and it was busy when we arrived at 7pm. Prompt service. We were joined by a friend out walking, and persuaded her to join us for dinner. I had the Harissa Warm Lamb salad, as did my friend, and we both found...

We slept here for one night. Room was Ok but very dated. Carpet everywhere, even in the bathroom. Host was not particularry friendly. No kitchen. We didn't eat here so can't say anything about the food.

We were recommended to try this restaurant (pub style) by the owner of the motel we were staying in for the night whilst stopping over in Thames on our way to Coromandel & were very happy with the recommendation. Right in the middle of town with easy parking or indeed as we did easy walking distance of local motels, this...

We ate here both nights we stayed in Thames and would highly recommend this pub. There is a good and varied menu, great selection of beers and wines and genuinely friendly and attentive service - even when very busy. Gastro pub or bistro style probably best describes the style of food. The atmosphere is good, too - a mix of...
