Upon arrival we were given key to our room, on opening door thought that someone else was in this room. Beds unmade, food on bench and bathroom a mess. We went back to reception and were told that was unusal as noone had been in that room for 2 days (apparently had not been cleaned). Were given a smaller room...

If the staff is really very nice and helpful, there is one negative point that is the noise of the road witch you can hear clearly. Otherwise, rooms are big, clean and comfortable for those who liked smooth bed. Interesting SPA in the bathroom.

We stayed here for two nights recently. The room was comfortable and adequate in size. But the management of this property doesn't care about their guests and were rude in correspondence and follow up. There was a major issue with noisy guests and they virtually did nothing. In fact it took many policemen several hous to evict the very nasty...

Staff friendly and very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Grocery markets next door and across the street. Restaurants nearby. Only stayed one night and had no complaints. Not far from the central business district for shopping.

Only staying one night for work - wish I was staying longer. Great location though I wouldn't wander around outside alone at night. The room and particularly the bathroom is spacious and has all the amenities you could ask for. The bed is really comfortable. Definitely staying at this little slice of heaven again on my next road trip =)

We stayed here in a 2 bedroom apartment for a hens night. Apartment was very spacious with it's own courtyard. Easily slept 8 people and was very well equipped with kitchen utensils etc. Very modern units. Would highly recommend. Beds are comfortable even though bedspreads look dated.

This motor lodge has large rooms with balconies. My room was very comfortable. The spa bath in my room would fit four. Although the location is a short drive from the town centre, there are three large supermarkets on the door step. There is unlimited free WiFi.

Booked for one night but decided to increase it to two once checked in. A top fit out that you would expect in a 5 star hotel. In fact better than some 5 stars I've stayed in. Staff a friendly and helpful

Cannot fault Aotea Motor Lodge. There was a bit of a mix up with the room I had booked, this was swiftly actioned and a corrected. The beds are to die for - so comfy. Lovely rooms, great staff. Would definitely recommend the Aotea Motor Lodge.

We travelled from Australia as a family of 4 and arrived 3 hours earlier. We were met by a lovely Maori lady who was able to offer us our room on arrival. The room exceeded expectations, great quality furnishings, spotless, comfortable beds, surprisingly luxurious bathrooms and spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 & 8. We also...
