Great place to stop for the night! We were travelling on a bit of a boys trip and made good use of the bar and facilities. Chelsea was very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay that much better :) Thanks Chelsea!

A real new zealand getaway and hospitality! We had a very comfortable room and we even had Sky Tv to watch the Melbourne cup live. We felt very looked after and safe on the river canoeing down after the stay at the lodge. The abundance of food at dinner and breakfast as well as a on site bar was a...

Fantastic stay. We got the shuttle from Raetihi, then Mt Biked into the Bridge to Nowhere, boat to the Lodge. Nice hot shower, cuppa/beers, then a huge beautiful meal. Including desert. Very comfortable bed, plenty of breakfast including fresh eggs off the farm. Lovely quiet place with lovely views and many animals. Jet boat, back to Pitiriki, shuttle to our...

I organised for 21 people (on a 'firefighter adventure') to stay at the lodge for two nights at the beginning of April 2016. It was the second night of our self guided canoeing trip. Absolutely amazing! We booked the whole lodge out and were provided with the most delicious food and terrific hospitality. Joe and his team were absolutely wonderful....

Highly recommended. Expensive but well-worth the money considering the remoteness of this place and the facilities provided. We did the retreat package that includes a night stay at the lodge, breakfast and dinner covered and the return fare on jet boat to Pipiriki. From the word 'Go', it was a marvellous experience. The wilderness beauty of the Whanganui river and...

The Bridge to Nowhere Lodge was a great place to stay at the end of our bike ride. The evening meal was superb, our bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space to relax plus the lit fire warmed the lodge. The shower facilities are a bit shabby and linen changes in the bathrooms would have been appreciated, considering...

Thanks for your comments. Glad that you enjoyed your stay with us! Yes the showers do need some attention they are on the agenda for replacing over the winter period. Will remind the girls about the bathmats etc needing changing for bigger groups. Maybe need to just have a shelf with spare towels etc and a a dirty washing basket...

Our group of 7 camped at the Bridge to Nowhere lodge camp ground while doing the 3 day canoe trip. Much more spacious than the DOC sites and with far superior facilities - how showers, more loos, more picnic tables with overhead shelter if necessary, a bar if wanted and overall much more pleasant. Very cute and friendly resident cat...

Most of the reviews for this place are positive and, to be fair, ours would have been if we had not been forgotten and left in the rain for 2.5 hours. TL;DR at the bottom. 3 of us mountain biked from Raetihi to the Bridge to Nowhere. It was a good day albeit very muddy. There are some fantastic sights....

After 3 nughts canoeing down the river, we had booked into the Bridge to Nowhere campsite. On arrival we parked our canoes up and just as we were discussing getting our gear up the hill, Daryl arrived with a quad bike and trailer. This was very exciting to us after logging our huge amount if gear uphill every day. We...
