And the room setup was as good as can be for a 6-bed bunk room. I stayed in the female only room, which was a lovely change from hearing guys snore in...

We had a nice stay while travelling up the west coast and visiting the pancake rocks. The owners were helpful and the kitchen was well equipped & large. The rooms were spacious and quaint with an African touch. We would come back again as we loved this hostel with the big garden!

Stayed here for a couple nights and instantly loved the style of the hostel, really cool African/aboriginal design and really great friendly girl on check in. The kitchen area is the best I've experienced travelling, so clean and loads of utensils. The room itself was a good size for a 6bed dorm and nice to have bunk beds that aren't...

Friendly and helpful host who provided map and advice on Greymouth facilities. Very colourful decor, with obvious care put into creating a backpackers with character. I appreciated that each dorm bunk had its own light and a power point.
