Chose this motel because of others' recommendations. They were all accurate. I would confirm the good comments made. A comfortable and handy-for-town motel. Concluded a very good day here with (so I am informed) unusual sunny, warm and dry weather for the West Coast!

A very comfortable and immaculately clean motel, with very friendly and efficient staff. We were delighted with the level of care and attention to detail. Everything we could want to make us feel welcome.

Older style refurbished motel with clean and spacious, comfortable well equipped rooms. Grounds and gardens are well maintained and would be a great place to relax on a longer stay. Friendly helpful staff and would definitely stay here again when we next visit Hokitika.

An older motel but beautifully renovated. The unit was very spacious and well equipped. Set in pleasant grounds with a BBQ for guest use. It is an easy walking distance to town and the many restaurants.

Very clean and close to town, but there was a strong smell of mold in the cupboards in the kitchen and bathroom and also in one of the bedrooms. I also saw mold in the shower, so I can't recommend a stay here.

What a find! This motel is the BEST we have stayed in so far in the whole of New Zealand. From the friendly reception to the spotlessly clean, well appointed room....we can find NO fault. It is immaculate. Highly recommend this to the most discerning of travelers - it is simply superb! Within walking distance of the town centre, the...

Nothing to fault about this motel. Has everything you need for a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! Unit 15 was beautiful with large bath, seems newly refurbished and so well equipped. Very friendly owners. Had lovely meal in garden using gas BBQ.

Had a spa studio unit and very clean and well equipped with full sky TV. Quiet enough and the bed was comfortable. we would stay here again and at $135 it was reasonable value. Well located and walking distance to town and the supermarket.
