This is an expensive version of a motel. It was clean and tidy with parking at the door. However no one was there to meet us and the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday - the two nights we were there - this was not noted on their web site. A family member came to see how we were...

We had a romantic gateaway booked months in advance as part of our private guided tour. When we arrived today on a rainy afternoon we were greeted by an extremely rude lady who after showing us to our nice room stated that we could not have lunch on the premises as the entire dinning area was closed out for a...

There were some aspects of Stations Inn that were great and others that were a bit disappointing, particularly for the price. Good points - Lovely big rooms with great views over the township and coastline. The gardens are also really nice and the owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the interior design of the rooms. Not so...

Out of town, very peaceful and good quality accommodation. Would have scored higher but the view down to the sea was somewhat marred by a (farm?) building, which just slightly spoils the panoramic views - otherwise a lovely setting. Realise that is just how we felt, otherwise we really liked the place. As it was the last night of our...

Loved our stay at Stations Inn, cute animals at back door, lovely views to the sea but had the country feel about it. Hugh Spa Bath with a very roomy Bedroom area. All flat, with some great walks around the area. Spotless clean. Thanks Sue and Ray

This hotel caught us by surprise. Very large rooms facing green garden with animals just like a little jewel. Old place but seems renovated with friendly family service. A great place for over night stay. The breakfast was too basic and am not sure was a good value for the money

Nice and quiet because it's slightly out of town. We enjoyed looking at the stars from the deck at night and then having brekkie in the crisp summer morning. Tip: watch the sunset from the deck in your room. Unfortunately the sunset view from the restaurant isn't as good!

I went with a group of 20 for dinner. The service was excellent and the food even better. They have a nice selection of wines. The restaurant sits in a hill looking toward the Tasman sea. We experienced a lovely sunset.

Thankfully a local told us about Stations Inn and so we booked online, a 2 night stay...............we have spent a lot of time in Hokitika but had never found this gem nestled on Blue Spur before. On arrival we drove into the area by the units and were directed to our unit by the lovely owner. The room was spotless,...

Stayed a night here on our way south from Able Tasman National Park. It was everything you could ask for with very pleasant and helpful management. We had a comfortable night and a nice breakfast, thank you Hostess! An ideal overnight stop.
