We stayed in the cottage, very comfortable and clean, huge garden if you have kids wanting to run around. everything you need. Owner is lovely really helpful. Spa has an amazing view of the mountains. Kaikoura is lovely and all open again. Would have liked a couple more days here.

We were in the two bedroom cottage which is well appointed and comfortable, a home from home. One bedroom upstairs and one down, plenty of room and comfortable beds. The views of the mountains would be hard to beat. It is a quiet location but that is because it is some way out of the town.

Arrived late in the evening, which was not a problem as our room was clearly marked for us and we saw ourselves in. Room was decent for the price, although maybe having an information book in the room would be useful as we only noticed the info board as we were leaving after 2 nights. Lovely view of the mountains,...

Stayed here for a night with my partner. Greeted by our lady host with a handshake and informed us that breakfast is from 8-9am, no small talk or the usual is it your first time here etc. We paid the bill and that's it, we figured out ourselves where our room key is and the wifi password by looking at...

Our room( Tralee ) had a private shower room,wi fi,tv and tea making facilities. There is a patio door opening onto a small deck with a table and chairs. There is...

Loved this place, quiet, peaceful with an amazing back drop. It is about 5-7min drive from town, very easy to find. Clean, comfortable rooms and nice hosts. My only complaint is that I didn't have enough time to use the hot tub. Good excuse for another visit.

Knowing we were picking up a transfer car late afternoon in Christchurch when we booked we commented that we would arrive until after 9pm. Before we arrived we also rung through. No problems at tall. We arrive and greeted by assistant who was operating the B&B while the owners were away. She was very accommodating and nothing was a problem....

We arrived later than expected and had rung ahead to advise the owner. All was well on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation - a separate self contained cottage which was clean and equipped with all we needed. We had asked for a recommendation for dinner (we wanted crayfish) and Winnie suggested the Pier Hotel. It was good food...

We had a couple of nights at Ardara Lodge and very much enjoyed our stay. It has a beautiful garden and is in a very tranquil location - hard to believe it is quite so close to the centre of town. Winnie and Phil were charming and helpful hosts and our room was comfortable and well equipped.

Thank Deborah L
