Modern average size room, very well designed, with everything you need and very clean. Outside seating downstairs. Very comfortable beds. On the esplanade near cafe and shop. We found staff obliging and friendly.

Chose to stay in the premiere accommodation with great view of the beach/ocean. Spa bath with great water pressure for shower, spacious suite, really comfortable bed and furniture, and adequate cooking facilities. Handy to adjacent cafe and near to town centre. Worth paying the extra for the better room.

This hotel has beautiful views of the water and is close to Whale Watch. Unfortunately we needed to cancel due to weather and slips in the road. We had a little trouble with the cancellation. We were told that, despite the weather (Cyclone Cook) and closure of SH1, there was another longer(6-7 hrs) route available. As long as there was...

We arrived at The White Morph in Kaikoura at 5.50pm on 16/5/17. We joined a small que in reception, eventually being seen at 5.55pm. The lady we met was not very chatty at all, and it was almost like talking with Ann Hegarty from the TV show "the chase". We explained that we'd driven non stop for 7.5hrs from Picton...

Dear CJTM45 I do apologize that the long drive gave you a negative attitude that affected your stay. When you asked about staying a second night we moved rooms around so if you did decide to stay for a second night we could accommodate you in the same room. Kind Regards Mike Royston Manager

Stayed at Kaikoura for the purpose of whale watching. The White Morph was more than suitable for our time there. Fairly basic but it was comfortable. Arrived late after a long drive, the reception was closed but the manager came down and made us feel welcome. Would happily return

The hotel is on the seafront. It is within easy walking distance of the town. There is still much evidence of the November earthquake so not everything is open. There are plenty of places to eat. The reception lady was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a good shower, all we needed. There is plenty of...

Location is excellent very central for the town and right on the seafront. Plenty of off road parking. Room was modern and clean only issue was the sound proofing between rooms could be a bit better. Staff were helpful and right next door to the dolphin encounter a well

We have no idea why it now seems to be called the "White Morph Heritage Collection". Despite this nonsense we had a great stay. The staff were great and the room, overlooking the sea, was very comfortable, very large, and well-equipped. An excellent continental breakfast was served in the cafe next door. This is the meeting point for swimming with...

We had a suite on the first floor above reception. It was spacious, clean and had a good kitchenette. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a good strong shower. The manager was friendly and very helpful. We had driven from Dunedin on the emergency repaired coastal road after the earthquake. Unfortunately our sleep was interrupted just after midnight when...

We arrived here late in the evening after driving from Picton the long way around due to the damage on the SH1 from the earthquake in November 2016. That really was one hell of a drive let me tell you. The guy on reception was friendly and offered us some milk for the room once we had checked in. We...
