The room was small and tired very dusty cleaning of this room was not a priority. It looked like builders or road workers had been using it. It was supposed to be a disabled access room but fell far short for the money and had we have known we would not have stayed there. Caution the patio window had not...

We stayed here while in Kaikoura and really enjoyed it, we had a really nice and really big room. Very fast internet and a spa bath in our room. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful

We stayed at Kaikoura to do the Whale Watching experience. These motel/units were great to stay at. Spotlessly clean. Great location, just a couple of blocks from town. The owners were lovely and have a great sense of humour. Would definitely stay here again with no hesitation whatsoever.

We had a few logistical challenges getting to Kaikoura given road closures and delays with a bush fire, but the hosts were incredibly accommodating, helpful and understanding. Once there the rooms were very spacious and very clean. Highly recommended!

We arrived a little later than planned as we booked this prior to the earth quake in November so we had a longer drive than originally planned for due to the coast road to the North of Kaikoura being blocked. The couple who ran the place were very welcoming. They also provided a lot of information about the local area...

Quite dusty, dated, and the rooms were a bit too small to even open a suitcase. A lot of light came in even when the curtains were closed, and there was a lot of noise in the area. The windows did not open, so it got quite hot at night. There was foreign hair left in the bathroom and a...

We stayed for a couple of nights so that we could go whale watching and have a look around Kaikoura. This motel proved to be a great choice. Very friendly reception and loads of information and advice as to how to get the best out of visit was readily given. Although we had not booked it we were given a...

We stayed here on a Wednesday in February so we could go on a whale watch trip. We were originally booked in for 2 nights but the November earthquake made us change our plans as SH1 is closed down to Kaikoura from Blenheim; so we cut a night & stayed at Hanmer Springs on the Tuesday and drove to Kaikoura...

This is a modern motel at the top of a hill, so well away from the waterfront but handy 5-minute walk down the hill to town. It's on the main highway but the room was not noisy - it is not that busy at the moment and we got a room at the back as requested. It was a nice...

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and were very happy with everything about this cute little motel. Rooms were spotless, bathroom adequate for three people and the beds very comfortable. The owner was delightful and gave us helpful ideas about what to do in town. Nice amenities and free movie rental! If the weather was warmer, the pool would...
