The rooms were absolutely adorable. There is a kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea. Definitely a historical site and an all-around experience of a stay. The owner was very sweet when we checked in and we had everything we needed in our room. It's conveniently located near eateries without being in amidst the hustle, bustle, and traffic. A perfect stay...

Pros: Pretty old style motel. Beautiful rugs and old style paintings/ mirrors throughout. Friendly lady checked us in and had a good chat. Good value for money. Great shared kitchen and bathrooms. Clean throughout. Friendly dog. Cons: Loud fridge- kept us up at night. No frosting on toilet window, so at night I was worried people could see in. Shower...

When you pay a quite inexpensive cost for a 'budget' room in a small motel that is in a clearly quite old building, you soon learn not to expect much. The Pampas motel in Port Augusta was a very pleasant surprise indeed. The furnishings were what I would have associated with a room rather more expensive than eighty dollars a...

We found this by accident, actually it came up on a search in google maps. Quite close to town, quite close to the tavern for a meal if you want a walk only 5 minutes. There is a nice levi walk just over the railway line if you are inclined. Great service, we stayed 2 nights and used the bbq...

We were looking for affordable accommodation during out trip from Adelaide to the Red Centre and found this gem. This past century Motel has been lovely restored to its former glory. The owners are greeting you with a warm welcome and the room we booked was spacious and with all modern amenities. A well set up kitchen and the bathroom/restroom...

Booked a Standard Queen room at the Pampas on our way to Coober Pedy and were very happy with our selection. Room was spacious and well appointed with everything you would expect, and all pristinely clean and in good condition.shower recess and bathroom slightly small but very minor issue. Our host was very helpful and secure parking was great. Really...

From the road she doesn't look like much, however the moment you pass through the doors you can see she has been lovingly restored. Michelle the hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and I was more than happy with my budget room, which came with a TV. I would recommend this place for the budget traveller and I would stay...

We stayed in room 12 (2adults,7yr old) in the newer (?60's addition) the room is spotlessly clean, with tea, coffee facilities, fridge and microwave. The heater works a treat and the bed is comfy. Love the triangle shaped bathroom, really quirky. We had a problem with our online booking & Michelle rang us within 30mins of our booking to sort...

We phoned in for a room after leaving Ceduna and we're just looking for something cheap and clean and comfy. We got all of that and more. Michelle is a lovely host and the building she maintains is a great example of early south Australian architecture. Secure parking was a first for me, and surprisingly reassuring.
