great home cooked food in the cafe. Cabin was clean, great location. Very close to airport - I would say on the landing flight path. Luckily there are no night flights. Cabin was equipped with fridge and kettle. If i was in the UK I would call this a holiday camp chalet

Nice big site with good facilities and about 2 hours drive from Picton and another hour to Abel Tasman. Located near to the beach with plenty of walking and cycling trails. The site is however at one end of the run way of Nelson airport and flights arrive or depart from early in the morning until late in the evening.

We booked a studio unit this time, having stayed at Tahuna under canvas many years ago. Expecting a rather spartan unit, we were blown away by the comparative luxury of the unit. Bed was very comfortable, facilities in the unit were excellent and equipment was generous. Layout was well thought out too. Clean, tidy, well equipped unit, friendly and well-informed...

We stayed here in our Campervan overnight while passing through Northwards, and it was fine. The facilities are good, with plenty of cooking space and a shop for general supplies, and the sites are not too crowded together. The Park is within walking distance of shape and restaurants.

We stayed here just out of Nelson for one night with a campervan. The camp site is huge! A good 15 minute walk back to the reception, good thing we drove. The kitchen was decent but nothing super. The bathroom we parked nearest was unable to be used and locked meaning we had to walk to the next closest where...

Stayed her for one night before travelling back to Picton and the ferry across to Wellington. The room smelled rather like a toilet when we arrived, having left all doors and windows open all afternoon, it got a little bit better. There is obviously an airport very close by as the planes were coming in very low over our chalet...

We stayed in the rather grandly named studio accommodation. This is pretty basic but we'll situated close to the beach. We had a friendly welcome. Several things should be improved eg there are no light switches near the beds or bedside tables. OK for overnight but we had hoped for better.

We spent two nights in Nelson, and this was an ideal place to stay. The campground is massive, and for a first-timer you'll definitely need to use the map you receive to figure out where to go. We were here in late summer, and there were quite a few good sites for us to pick from. A crowd nearby was...

We've stayed here many times over the years - such a great location. This time we got a real shock when we went to pay - the price had gone up by 33%! The cabin we'd booked at a price of $120 is now $160! They didn't tell us this when we booked, or when we arrived, and when we...

Look I've stayed here a few times with a motor home and I was quite content with the services I required and if you have kids it's great; as long as your bringing everything but the kitchen sink. However, if your staying in a cabin....don't! Go somewhere else!!!!!! Unless of course your happy to: pay for a room that isn't...
