The room is very beatiful, aesthetic, and comfortable and the scenery from the window is also beatiful - can see the Center of NZ and beatiful sunset. The owner - Janet and Tim - are so kind and helpful and could enjoy the conversation. The breakfast is so nice - Handmade omelet with cheese/salmon, bread, yoghurt, cereal, and fresh fruits...

Host really friendly and breakfasis really great. Varity of fruit, home made musilli and everyday hot breakfast different styles. The hosts offer a really relaxing stay and they were very flexible with our time travel. Loved and I will come back!

Spacious room with outdoor deck and nicely renovated en suite bath. Hosts Tim and Janet couldn't have been more accommodating and served sumptuous hot breakfast. Easy 10 minute walk to city center; lovely setting along creek with walking/biking trail.

Lovely old house with a quaint sort of charm. Hosts very helpful with ideas for what to see and do. Bedroom and adjoining bathroom both large and well equipped. Loads of storage space which we found lacking in some other places we stayed. Good breakfast with Janet an Tim on hand to chat. Would recommend.

Thank you for your kind review. It is easy to recommend 'lots' of things to do and see here in Nelson and the surrounding area, so hopefully guests have the time to stay for a few days and enjoy it all. Janet

Janet and Tim are wonderful hosts and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. (Tim actually went out and picked up a pizza for us on our last night, and Janet did some laundry for us--very gracious!!!). Janet's breakfasts were absolutely wonderful, always starting with a lovely large bowl of fresh fruit, (which we appreciate so much when traveling), followed...

Hi, thank you for your review, Tim and I are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here. The WIFI is located in the main house and I am sorry if this caused you an inconvenience, but from our point of view besides breakfast, it was the only other time we got to chat and give you advice on what...

We first stayed at Baywick Inn on our initial trip to NZ 10 years ago - and returned here two weeks ago on our latest trip. It's still an excellent choice for Nelson and the surrounding area. The Inn is gorgeous - lovely architecture and common areas. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a little deck overlooking the...

Very comfortable room with plenty of drawers to put our clothes in (even expensive hotels seem to think you live out of a suitcase). Friendly and helpful hosts who booked tables for dinner for us. Breakfast was amusing as we were able to chat with other guests who came from all over the world. Nelson is a good place to...

Great hospitality from Tim & Janet. Very helpful about the area. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, home made museli, scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes and toast. The complimentary sherry/port was a nice touch. Also the honesty box for beer/wine. Loved the decor/layout I'd highly recommend it.

Baywick Inn is a charming villa restored lovingly, full of Victoriana and native timbers. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the hosts, Tim & Janet, will do anything to assist. Perfect location next to the Maitai River, near to Queens Gardens and the Suter Gallery, and an easy stroll to town or the Centre of NZ. Janet's breakfast frittata -...
