It is hard to write anything else about this motel, everything from the service to the location to the rooms were immaculate but I'll try to highlight some of the details that made our stay so very enjoyable. The details of the finishing in the rooms are of the highest standard and the appliances shiny and new and great quality....

We stayed here for one night. The location for us was perfect, round the corner from the town meant an easy walk to the centre. The motel looks pretty standard from the outside but when you enter your room it is evident how much care and attention the owners have put into it. Our room was immaculate and furnished to...

I enjoyed my night at the hotel. It is well located close to the town centre. I was able to stroll into town and up to Fairfield Park. It was clean, and quite, as Nelson is not a very busy place at night, even on a Saturday night.

We really enjoyed our visit to Nelson and we were warmly welcomed by a husband and wife team that run a first class place. They were also very knowledgeable about the local area. The motel is easy walking distance to all downtown stores and restaurants. Don't miss the Saturday market! Very entertaining for both people watching and variety. Our room...

We travelled with our two young-adult children to Nelson during the Christmas holidays. We stayed for 3 nights in the Presidential Suite and wish we could have stayed longer. First and foremost, Kiara and Bob are everything you could ask for in hosts. They are informed of the tourist activities in the area and were able to recommend and book...

Well positioned at the nicer end of Nelson... Close to some lovely restaurants, possibly 5 mins walk to the nicer end of the mall/main shopping strip. Do visit Harry's Bar and Restaurant, Hopgood's Award winning restaurant...and a small cafe called Sweet As for it's nice homemade pies. Our one bedroom apartment is spacious, very clean, nice hot spa bath with...

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Nelson and would definitely stay there again. The bed was so comfortable, the rooms well decorated and nice and close to everything in the city.

Rooms are nice enough but very small - stayed in the Ambassador Suite. Proximity to town is good but there are no views other than over the main road and a car dealership. Internet is expensive-$5/day plus 10cents per MB after the first 50MB. Hosts are nice and had good knowledge of the area and things to do. Probably wouldn't...

We are a young couple from Florida that went on a 5 week road trip around the south island of New Zealand. We have to say, of all the many places we stayed, this is one of our favorites. Not only did we love the room, the owners were great people. We took all of Keira's advice on places to...

We stayed here mid January 2012 and were really impressed. We had just completed the Abel Tasman walk and so needed somewhere that was comfortable, close to the city centre, but still quiet and this place had it all (including a spa bath to relax in). The room itself was very well appointed, luxurious and best of all, it had...
