Clean, tidy and a well set out unit. The motel is handy to shops and, important for us, near the excellent Papakura RSA. Just be careful when parking as the park numbers do not match the units! We went to the wrong unit due to this, but it was no problem and the manager even came to us with the right keys when he saw what had happened.

Very small, not very clean, under provisioned, reluctant service. Expensive for what you get. A "fully provisioned kitchen" is not what it says, kitchen is about 2sqm and has bathroom off it as well, adding to congestion - and this is the 'family' unit! Had to go ask for loo paper at 7am because it ran out ( no we weren't wasting it) and the owners were annoyed about that. Advice: Don't go there!

I just spent a wonderful night at this motel. The location is in a residential area and very quiet but also close to SH1. The rooms are large, clean, and well designed. They have Japanese design elements like shoji panels for inside doors, great linens, and a great bed. Very workable place to stay. I arrived late to be greeted by name by Steve Rho the night manager and was treated to 2 blueberry muffins his wife baked for me. If only all motels were this solid and enjoyable.

We stayed this weekend. They got us muddled with other customers and we had to sort it out for them. They conveniently don't speak English when things go wrong. The room was (and I do not exaggerate) gross. Mould on the curtains, the windows. Moth filled light fittings. Different colour lights over the beds. The show had a dark brown ring in the water outlet. I would not put a piece of bread near the toaster and the couch is absolutely filthy. They had free Wifi and the bed linen was clean. I do not understand how they think they have a four star rating and other clients staying at the same time had the same complaint. One lady came to our room and asked for a spare toilet roll as the people wouldn't answer the door. There was a pot outside the owners door with moulding food in it! At $140 per night this is shameful. We most definitely will not be back.

Stayed for three nights while attending a convention nearby, while clean the room was small and needed brightening up. I like a hard bed but this one was a little uncomfortable and needed a duvet rather than the heavy quilt that was used. The bathroom was clean but needed a heater as it was cold in there. All basic equipment was supplied. The owners were very friendly and helpful particularly after I left something behind they held it for several days until I could collect it.
