Easy to find hotel. Bus stop right out front. Close to Auckland CBD. There were restaurants nearby but the best ones are at Mission Bay, a short drive away. The soap dispensers were hopeless and they did not have a face washer to use with the liquid soap, if you could get it out of the dispenser. Parking could be...

We stayed overnight to go to the theatre in Auckland. The hotel is a converted old house in an expensive area of the city but the accommodation cost was very reasonable. We had a good full NZ breakfast before leaving as well. The hotel is a little tired but the staff very friendly and helpful.

An economy room is actually I suspect the old staff quarters. A pocky little room with very basic service. Do not recommend these room types. A description of the room would have been appreciated before committing to booking and paying upfront!!!

Good morning Sam Sorry I have missed you the day you checked in. Also, I do apologies if you were not happy with the room you have had. Unfortunately, we were so fully booked that day, although I have advised the other staff to upgrade you if there were any cancellation but we were unable to satisfy your requirement. As...

My parents and I loved this quirky sweet hotel in the Remuera neighborhood. It's gorgeous wood floors and awesome and beautiful, the area is beautifully quiet and the neighborhood offers much in the way of cute amenities from cafes to dress shops and more. This is not the Hilton or Ritz but it's clean, quiet, safe and the staff was...

A little difficult to find at night. Extremely thin walls as in you can hear a quiet conversation in the next room. Ample hot water. Wi-Fi is spotty or nonexistent in rooms. Gorgeous exterior, pleasant interior. Tight squeeze for parking. Pleasant staff.

We booked this hotel as the last one that we would stay in our honeymoon in New Zealand. Our room was HUGE and really lovely, with a super comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and allowed us to leave our luggage with them after we checked out of the hotel, so that we...

Dear guest, thanks for your comment and honest review. We have a very old house and it is a little hard to put more heating in the room which I do apologies for that. Whereas the window, I will mention to the owners and think of a way to solve this kind of issues. Again, thanks for taking time out to...

I booked the Devereux for myself and my 74yo mother for our two days exploring Auckland at the start of our ten day North Island roadtrip. The room was comfortable, decently clean, and the ambience of the hotel was delightful. As mobility can be an issue for her, the free parking was a plus as we opted to drive most...

This hotel is a refurbished old mansion in the upmarket suburb of Remuera in Auckland. As usual we ordered a twin room. There was a comfortable queen size bed, but the second bed was a single bed on castors that slid all over the place. There was no head board, so it was impossible to sit up in bed. The...

A beautiful 2 storey 1879 building in the heart of Remuera. With parking. This is why we choose it for all our guests that came to my husbands 80th party at the Buffalo Cafe, 355 Remuera Road. My guests could walk back after the function. Plus 6 of us meet them all for well presented breakfast, and I might add,...
