The chateau is a very lovely place to stay. The accommodation is excellent and this owners and staff could not be any more welcoming or friendly. We got an upgrade and the room we got was number 7 and it was very nice with views down the drive. We had breakfast each day as we were visiting a few of...

Beautiful chateau with contemporary dining rooms. We enjoyed a delicious 3 course Sunday lunch, absolutely faultless and stylishly presented. However ,we were a little disappointed that our coffee-which was not included in the price - was just that- a coffee. In a restaurant of this quality i would expect petit fours,or at least a chocolate! We will go back though as everything from the...

A Chateau where modern values of service, food and design prevail. The development of pods give a variety of accommodation options that complement the rooms in the Chateau. As people who live in the countryside it was great to be surrounded by horses, goats, pigs, chickens and wildfowl. Bois-Guy also has some of the most contented cats anywhere.

Was there quite a long time ago... still remember that feel of peace and slowdown of time run... Located remotelty from big cities it is overwhelming by the special atmosphere of French village area. All those birds (goose, ducks) walking around the castle... evenings full of nature sounds... Was goig to book it for my trip this May but unfortunately...

Our room was off a courtyard. It was clean, comfortable and a very relaxing location. We understand there was a huge event there the previous day but this in no way affected...

We stayed for one night at Chateau du Bois-Guy, after leaving the Cherbourg ferry. We arrived in the late afternoon on an unusually hot and sunny September day. The initial view of the buildings and ground was stunning. The experience got better when we met one of the two owners a young Swiss man and his English/French assistant whose main...

My wife and I recently returned from Chateau du Bois-Guy having stayed for 2 nights. The hotel provides a laid back and relaxed stay and you cannot fail to feel at home. Michael and Mathieu are most welcoming hosts and have a variety of animals and interesting sculptures in palatial grounds. The rooms are superb, spacious, clean and with all...
