My childhood friend and I (we both turned 60) decided to discover Costa rica as a signature trip. I can't say enough of how wonderful the Palace Rui is and the people there. It was over the top excellent and kind attention from everyone. The rooms were immaculate and the staff the best . We felt extremely welcome and enjoyed...

We enjoyed our stay in an ocean view room. The resort grounds were beautiful, wait staff exceptional - the "dirty monkey" drink was our favorite. Morning walks on the beach were amazing - be sure to bring bottled water as it is very hot.

Always wanted to visit Costa Rica, and decided on our favourite Rui brand, and not disappointed. The resort is fantastic, clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The entertainment team are brilliant and funny, we have done many of the activities. Only one complaint is the speciality restaurants are first come basis, so have to get there by...

Pros: Very clean (bathrooms, pools, rooms, restaurants, etc), Well Staffed bars = not long waits for drinks. Cons: Restaurants food quality is bad. The steakhouse served me overcooked steak and lobster. The Japanese Restaurant served me cold Ramen. There isn't much to do near the hotel. The closed town is Coco Beach -20 mins via water taxi. .

Semana Santa as we call it in Central America, is one of the busiest travel dates around. We made plans some time ago, to visit a place we didn't know. This is one of the nicest all inclusive hotels i've stayed in. It took us 4.5 hours to get there from the San Jose Airport!! I would give the food...

In summary, if you want to experience a very good hotel, with wonderful staff, great food, beautiful weather AND most importantly meet the wildlife of Costa Rica, then this is a great starting point. The Location This hotel is very remote. The only other hotel in the area is the sister Riu Guanacaste next door. (we nipped over to see...

Our family of four (two teens) loved this resort! Stayed for five days and nights and had a fantastic time. It's fun for adults, couples, children and families. We enjoyed the rooms - excellent showers and comfortable beds - and the turndown service that was very flexible according to our varied schedules. Some days we got uno early (5:00 or...

We had the all-inclusive package. It was truly all-inclusive. The beach chairs, the beach towels, wine at lunch and dinner, and nightly shows were free. In Puerto Rico at an all- inclusive resort we had to pay taxes. At the Palace there were no taxes. All of the staff were friendly. The grounds were well kept. We will always consider...
