Absolutely beautiful part of Australia, a must do for all. Campground and staff were great. You must do the rim walk , leave early and take snacks and water. Go to the sunset viewing at the back of the campground with friends and wine!

We camped in a roof top tent with 2 young kids in the unpowered section and found the facilities to be excellent. Toilets and showers were clean and the water was hot. There is a shop to stock up on supplies as well as a pool and playground equipment. There is also a sunset viewing area of the canyon. There... More

Dingo's were exciting to see frequently, remember not to leave your meat out to defrost or it will be taken! Washing machines all need servicing and to be kept away from the red grit, there are lots of machines, but all outdoors. Reception needs a bit of structure for busy times; just a bit chaotic at busy times but it's... More

Loved kings Canyon camp grounds really well looked after. Pool was lovely but not heated so beware. Bar & restaurants staff were really friendly although obviously being so far out the price's are a bit high but the service & quality made up for this & along with the visits from the local dingos which the kids loved was great.... Thank you Louise Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay in our Campground , including the roaming dingoes and non heated swimming pool ( needs a few more weeks of warmer weather to become usable for most guests ). We do look forward to welcoming back to the amazing Watarrka National Park in the future .. perhaps you will choose... More

At $50.00 + $1.65 charge for using Visa Card per night for a powered site. The price does not match the park even for the out back. Some lights not working, BBQ not working and the general appearance of the park was not good for the price. FUEL a rip off @ $197.8 diesel when Uluru was $177.9 Staff very... More

We stayed here in a motorhome for 2 nights, the site was of a good size, the are BBqs spread allround the campground, many amenities blocks which could do with some decent maintenance, didn't look overly clean once the cleaners left.Great to see they are building some ensuite sites hopefully they are well maintained once up and running. We spent one night here on an unpowered site and were shocked at the cost; we had spent the previous night at Ayres Rock campground for a fraction of the price. The pool is fenced off, but was freezing cold - at 5.30pm, when we arrived - so this was one amenity we paid for and used for less than... More

Well, if you want to spend money, this place may be good (I am not reviewing the Resort, but the campground within the resort). If not, you'll have to you stay in a campground, with shared bathroom and shared kitchen. We stayed in a cabin in the campground and paid 170 $/nght (I don't remember the exact value). For shared... Spent 2 nights on a powered site, which was quite a good size. The amenities needed a very good clean - pretty filthy when we arrived. There is a camp kitchen on site, but way over on one edge of the park. Around the central lawn area are 6 more covered areas with seating and a sink. I wanted to... More
