We stayed here 2 Nights in January, 2017. Rooms are newly built, clean. This Place is bit remote (No Mobile signals, No wifi, far away from town) They do have a TV in living area, and lots of indoor games (Carrom,Cards,Chess, Fusball) Food is basic, you can try their specialize dishes (Roti, Strings). Staff is very friendly and helpful.

On our trip to the hill country and our visit to Horton Plains, we had 2 nights at Safari Hill Lodge. It's a simple and basic lodge, but with a really nice team and the most amazing views from the rooms. One of the most beautiful morning views you can imagine. The rooms are basic, but clean and functional. They...

We stayed here 2 nights in November with my wife and daughter. I must say it was not love at the first sight. We arrived after a very long drive, the last part of to road was very bad. Also we arrived in thick mist, where we didn't have any view. So we were thinking, is this is it? But...

Four of us went there to decompress after a 3 day hike and it was the height of tranquility and beauty. I wish we'd stayed for more than 1 night so I'm going back for sure. The rooms were super squeaky clean, the food was fresh and delicious and the staff was everything kind and gracious. The only problem I...

As the pictures show, the views are amazing. The road is precarious and not well suited to a van although it is possible. Avoid arriving at night. We wanted to stay as high up the mountain as possible to arrive at Horton plains as early as possible.

If you want to visit Horton Plains national park (you should!!) this place is fantastic. Much closer to the national park (20-30 minute by tuktuk) as compared to more crowded Nuwara Eliya. Wonderful staff, great food, fantastic views. No WIFI connection or nightlife or supermarkets even so nice to get away from it all :-).

We loved our stay at the Hill Safari. Even to get there is already an adventure in itself but it is so worth it. The owner and all the staff members are super friendly and you could easily stay there a week if you are into hiking and want to get a rest from the busy city life. Unfortunately we...

It is a difficult place to reach as it is so high up and the final stretch of road is bad. But the view when you arrive makes it all worth while. Feel like you are on top of the world. Great location to reach world end. Only 20 mins drive away. Also the staff and free meals are great....
