We had already booked a 2-bedroom apartment in Akumal. Had I known of Hotel Jashita, I would have preferred it. It is in a private setting on the beach, at the end of about a 1 kilometer dirt road. We discovered the hotel because we came to have lunch at the Sahara Cafe there. "Cafe" is an understatement. We were...

This past weekend I spent it with friends at Hotel Jashita and it was the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. Wether spending the day on the beach or at the room top pool, it was just what I was looking for. Being able to paddle board or kayak whenever I wanted allowed me to get in a little exercise...

The basic concept of the hotel is hard to beat. Spacious rooms facing a small beach area and a couple of swimming pools. Intimacy....at peak season the hotel was never crowded and the small number of rooms means that everyone from the restaurant to the dive concession gets to know your likes and dislikes. An excellent Italian run restaurant (the...

Jawdropping! That was my first impression when they showed us our rooms - just too beautiful, facing the beach and ocean, all rooms with a dipping pool. This is a quiet 23 room hotel, so you won't find any crowds around. This may be the most relaxing place I have ever been. We walked the 5 mile beach daily. A...

This is a simply wonderful true boutique hotel. Set on Soliman bay (about 10k north of Tulum) it is the only hotel with a beautiful beach and warm water that is calm and protected by the coral reef. This means you can swim/kayak for about .5k out never getting deeper than mid chest. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens...

We arrived Christmas Eve and spent 7 days here. It is a lovely, quiet hotel, on a perfect part of the bay. We were looking for total relaxation and are not fans of big hotels. We travel to Mexico 3-4 times a year and have our favorite places, we hope to add Jashita to our list. We stayed in the...

My wife and another couple were looking for a quiet getaway in the midst of a dreary East Coast January - the Hotel Jashita in Tulum came to our rescue. Our driver dropped us at a somewhat non-descript entry door, through which we emerged into the beautiful Jashita buildings and grounds. The Jashita is a small and luxurious boutique hotel...

For those wishing to visit Tulum and not being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the beach strip this hotel is perfect. Situated beautifully among trees the hotel has 2 swimming pools and a lovely beach front for hotel guest only. The beds are as comfortable as ours at home which is very rare and exceptionally clean....

A beautiful, understated, yet luxurious little boutique hotel tucked away on Soliman Bay, about 10-15 mins drive from Tulum. If you are looking for a quiet place with privacy, an attentive, personalized service, and want to enjoy an amazing breakfast (the in house made fresh croissants and marmalades are to die for) overlooking the serene beach, this is the perfect...

As we drove away from Hotel Jashita my family and I tried to put into words what we had just experienced. It is impossible to describe the town and hotel in one word- it is quaint but extravagant, quiet yet exciting, relaxing but energized, rustic but hip. Arriving Tulum is an easy hour and a half drive from the Cancun...
