Situated on the bank of the Brest/Nante canal a perfect and very picturesque location. We were a group of 3 couples over a weekend in October and found the hotel quirky and quaint. The decor was as you would hope from a period property. The rooms had a view over the canal and were all clean and very comfortable. The...

An unbelievable B&B in Rohan for all the wrong reasons. We arrived with two peacocks guarding the entrance and had to wait for the host to arrive although a guest told us to ring a number to gain entry which we did. The house overlooked the lock and canal which was a lovely view from the drawing room but everywhere...

A lovely place, formerly the house of the local flour miller, who from this house could oversee his mill. Most of our fellow guests were keen cyclists and 7 couples sat down to breakfast with our hostess. We had a disaster on the way (an unmendable puncture) and the hostess fetched us from 10 miles away, and her husband repaired...

We were two couples on a bike trip across Brittany. This was our favourite accommodation, without question. The house is lovely, in a wonderful location, with charming and comfortable rooms. The welcome was warm, despite our being very wet and muddy. We were supplied all we needed to clean up our bikes and gear. Our hostess had very thoughtfully provided...

Arrived on Sunday after 88+kms on bike 16.15 and had to wait outside ( rain imminent) with a crowd of other guests until non resident hostess arrived at 17.45. Then required to do tour of premises before being shown our rooms (bathroom urgently required notwithstanding) after being told which stairs we were allowed to use. Kitchen provided for use of...

2. Thank you for your message. Reading this gives the impression that there were 50 people waiting outside the door, but in fact you are in the same group as the person from the following message, between you all in the group you booked three rooms. Just to explain a bit more about my late (15 minute) arrival, in addition...

Beautiful setting and lovely decor especially in the breakfast room. A pity the owner does not live there as we had to wait for arrival at 5.45 with five cyclists and one car driver as well as other guests waiting. Our room had tiny shower and the breakfast was average although organic. Excellent restaurant 2 mins walk along the canal...basic but...

Thank you for your message. Sorry to hear you did not maximise your stay and enjoy Rohan’s beautiful environment and the activities proposed by the Solid'art association. I have noted that you usually leave feedback, something that appears to occupy your holiday. But I suggest it might be better to read the information provided by us on our website, or...

We arrived having booked via Booking.com, (very easily,) a little early. We sat peacefully outside, listening to the peace and quiet. When Agnes, the owner arrived, it was just the beginning of a super stay. The typical French four storey building if a little rustic french on the outside was beautifully clean, neat and tidy and very well furnished on...

We stayed two nights in Villa Tranquillite mid-September. The location is spectacular, overlooking the Nantes-Brest canal in the pleasant and relaxing town of Rohan. The canal lock was awash with colour from the most beautiful floral displays. We had been advised by email that the check-in time was on or after 5:30 pm but being typical Irish we assumed this...

An interesting and quirky place to stay off the beaten track. The room was beautifully decorated complete with nice little touches, although the toilet was down the corridor and shared with other guests. Being a chambre d'hote you can have an evening meal which will either be vegetarian or fish based with several other courses. Breakfast was around a communal...
