Good size, clean room, basic but with kettle and cuppa tea. Restaurant few steps away - breakfast was served there, good variety, something for everybody. Quiet surrounding nice rural views. Good value for money.

Room as expected for Premier Inn. Clean & comfy bed. Bought the meal deal, evening meal and breakfast at the brewers fayre. Waited over an hour for our meal, which wasn't that hot, and dissapointing . Waited for half an hour before we had a drink. Maybe wasn't enough staff? Waiter who served us,did his best and was polite and...

The room was fine, clean and the bed comfortable. The overall hotel is a bit tired outside the rooms and carpets are worn i passageways and stairs, The attached Brewers Fayre served standard pub grub. I enjoyed the Mixed grill and it was good value. Was staying on business so it was fine, but its a drive to eat anywhere...

The hotel is a distance from Whitehaven and probably too far to walk, we drove in. The hotel is split into 3 different buildings and the car park is a little awkward with most spaces round the back and not ideal if raining. We stayed in one of the older rooms above the restaurant which was fine. I believe the...

We were allocated a room in the older block, but everything was fine, clean and comfortable. The bed is amazing, and room was quiet. On our first night the car park was empty, but filled up on week nights, although there is plenty it is on a slope. All the staff we spoke to were really friendly, offering advice and...

This is the only large chain hotel in the area. Staff friendly, rooms clean and spacious. However the staff were run ragged in the bar/restaurant area on the evening i stayed. We waited approx 45mins to receive starter (prawn cocktail) a further 35 mins until our main courses arrived. Sincere apologies from received from the staff, however we weren't alone.......
