The only downside of our trip that it was just for 2 nights. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was left to chance. The staff are all amazing, kind and attentive. Our room was gorgeous, and serviced within an inch of its life. We did as many tours as we could - I opted out of one to spend a couple of hours relaxing and soaking up the beautiful resort. The food was fabulous, I loved the long dining table for lunch and evening meals as it gives you a chance to chat with other guests. The chef appears at the table to chat about the course you are about to be served. Wine and other alcohol choices were superb and plentiful. We took a helicopter ride to Miri Miri Falls and had the place to ourselves, it was unforgettable. If you ever get the chance to come to this amazing location, you will not be disappointed. I hope we can return again one day, next time for longer. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay one of the best holidays we have had.…
We were lucky enough to secure a Cliffside cabin for our stay. The accommodation was over and above what we had expected. The service and food was fabulous. Staff overly accommodating and professional. Bucket list holiday at the El Questro Homestead.
Read the reviews with high expectations and was still blown away by how amazing this was. Attention to detail was impeccable and the staff were absolutely amazing and attentive. The food was excellent and the coordination of various day trips was very well done. The only problem I have is it has ruined me for future holidays as the benchmark has been set so high and nothing else is likely to come close.
5 + star luxury on all accounts . Accomodation amazing , staff were just wonderful and attempt to all our needs . Location was spectacular. Included tours and guides were spot on with information and punctuality . Helispirit tour an amazing experience champagne on the cliff top to view sunset
The level of service outstanding, nothing goes amiss from cleanliness, food and exceptional staff. The Homestead well deserves all the accolades . So so many highlights, the food was first class , loved our chef’s presentation daily of the dishes presented. Put this place on your bucket list.
We loved our stay at the homestead. The facilities were marvellous and the staff amazing and attentive. Well done Tristan, Nick, Steve and the rest of the staff. The tours were informative and interesting. The food was excellent and as we are not wine drinkers there were other alternatives offered
Homestead was certainly an unforgettable experience being set in picturesque surroundings. Nick was absolutely awesome, proactively noticing that the food wasn't to my liking and altering it to suit my dietary needs. Housekeeping was good although certain things needed fine tuning including replenishing of towels and amenities. Trip logistics were ok, although at times we were left rushing our time-delayed breakfast because of a shortage of kitchen staff, to meet set departure times. Some requests, like a private dinner by the gorge, were "looked into" but ultimately ignored without even the courtesy of a reply. Despite the teething issues, the Homestead was an extraordinary experience!
We stayed 3 nights and felt like royalty. We were so well looked after by intelligent, caring young people. Jason met us on arrival and within seconds we had French champagne in our hands. The staff were brilliant and anticipated our every need. They quickly learnt our names and made us feel special. Nothing was too much trouble. Whoever employs and interviews the staff are doing a fantastic job. The chefs were also brilliant. Every meal we had was perfect, delicious and inspiring and accompanied by excellent wines. Our room was well maintained and showed that thought had been given to every detail. Loved the large fluffy towels, the shower head and the extra toiletries. The mini bar was well stocked and was appreciated after a tour out in the heat. The tours on offer were exceptionally well run with guides who were passionate and full of knowledge. Thank you Phil, Ange, Vinnie and Kimberley. The Homestead has the most breath-taking and stunning view. Put this on your bucket list. Make sure you do not leave it too long and if possible visit between May and the end of August. A holiday to remember.…
Jason and the team provided us with the perfect experience. We appreciated the low key high standards and the flexibility offered. Having our own transport enabled us to explore the property. Thanks all.
We recently had 4 nights at the Homestead and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff at the Homestead were great (Greg and Sarah x 2 particularly) as were the rangers who took us out on the various excursions, took great care of us and were very knowledgeable (special mention to Shawn and Kim). We were also particularly lucky to have young Buster provide an indigenous angle to some of our tours which guests would not usually experience - this was a massive highlight for us. We split our time between the homestead room and gorge view... even though we had activities every afternoon and morning, you still spend a bit of time in the room and having the bathtub overlooking the gorge is an absolute treat. If I had some small complaints, they would be 1) lack of a longer/more challenging hike 2) the food is very good but not as mind blowing as other similarly priced, remote lodges (but that may be personal preference) 3) we were told we could have a late check out on our last day but were told at 6:30am that day that this was no longer possible, leaving us to madly pack ahead of departing for a tour at 7am. Understand that plans change, but such late notice isn't ideal.…
