There's a big range of places to stay in Palm Cove, ranging from backpacker to top end apartments. We chose Melaleuca Resort because it looked attractive from the outside, being set back from the road and fronted by a lovely tropical garden and pool. We also chose it because it was low season, and they offered a very attractive deal....

What a great find. My cousin and I traveled to Cairns to go scuba diving but I couldn't find a hotel that I was comfortable staying in. When I expanded my search to nearby hotels, I found the Melaleuca Resort - and without reservation, would stay again. We did have a rental car since we drove from Townsville. However, since...

The family who is running Melaleuca Resort is there for you for whatever you need from booking airport transfers and tours to suggesting the best restaurants and spas. I stayed in an apartment with a balcony overlooking the ocean and I enjoyed every minute there. You can easily prepare a meal in the kitchen and do laundry. A Coles supermarket...

My wife and I booked 4 nights here recently based on the very positive TripAdvisor feedback and we were not let down. A bit older and not as "flash" as some but everything here is beautifully maintained, the balcony provided a beautiful outlook of the beach and the pool was a pleasant surprise. Because of the lush gardens around the...

We had spent 7 days driving around northern Queensland and coming to Palm Cove was to relax. Melaleuca was perfect - very comfortable apartment, beautiful sea and garden views, laundry facilities (just what we needed!) Margaret and Steven were very friendly and most helpful - an issue with the air conditioning remote controller was sorted very quickly. We would highly...

Nestled in the heart of Palm Cove, the Melaleuca Resort is surrounded by eateries, restaurants and shops, is a stones throw from the beach and a short stroll to the bus stop, local pub and surf club. Our one bedroom, self-contained apartment was well appointed with a comfy bed, two icy air conditioners and a balcony overlooking the picturesque gardens,...

My partner and I stayed here at the beginning of December and adored the resort.... The room/ apartment was huge and very clean the staff wonderful and all the amenities were just gorgeous! The best part of the resort would have to be the location... So close to good and activities and the beautiful beach! We will be back :)

We stayed here based on previous reviews and location. It was a lovely place, the gardens are magnificent, in fact we loved them so much we plan on using them as a template for our own. The hosts were very welcoming, even with Margaret's broken arm she still showed us to our room and gave us plenty of information. Not...

Hi RosieMeadows. Thank you for your lovely review. Marg's arm is mending well and I am doing the best I can for a partner with a sore limb. The one handed typing gets her very frustrated but she has to soldier on. We look forward to your return soon and hope your travels are safe ones. Regards Steve and Margaret.
