We wanted to cancel our reservation due to the arrival of cyclone Debbie, but that was not possible according to Whitsunday on the beach. Terrible customer service! A cyclone is apparently not enough excuse to cancel???!!!

My brother, his international buddy & I stayed here in December 2016. What a location. Step outside into a protected lagoon on one side or step outside, across the road to access every amenity you could ever need on the other side. That plus your vehicle is safe & secure here. On holidays, all you need is a clean place...

The hosts are lovely and always ready to help out with your queries. The motel is centrally located wirh pubs, woolies, shops nearby and it has a lagoon in the backyard where you can swim anytime. Loved our stay here, the rooms are pretty clean with basic amenities.

The hotel is right in the middle of town. Easy walk to many restaurants and right next to the "second largest swimming pool in the southern hemisphere". The floor is all tile and there are many places with the grout missing. The air conditioner could not keep up with the heat. The WiFi only worked the first night (and it...

This is a simple beach hotel with a great location, spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen and easy access through a gate to the lagoon. The room is simple but works well with reasonable bed, basic furniture and bathroom. I recommend this hotel for short stays and as stopover to boat cruises.

The room I was in was very basic but all I needed. The room and facilities were very clean the service was very nice. The location is great as well. I can highly recommend this place to pretty much anyone.

Step out the motel gate, walk 20 paces and the waters of Airlie lagoon will have begun lapping at your knees. The lagoon is rightly the focal point of Airlie (where the sea waters are potentially deadly), and it's great to have such a facility on your doorstep. Head out the other way from the motel and you're in the...

Stayed here in November 2016. I walked in looking for a room and was greeted by a nice man who helped me and arranged a room at a good price, he was very helpful and happy to accommodate me. The rooms are a little dated but functional, the location is amazing, right on the main street in the heart or...

I stayed at WHITSUNDAY ON THE BEACH for new years. Its was great, heaps of space in the room, comfortable beds, perfect kitchenette, and very secure off street parking. Access straight onto the lagoon is another positive! Would really recommend for anyone to stay, suits all people! Lovely reception too which is always a bonus!

This was a great little motel. Was renovated and is clean. Met all our expectations and would recomend this motel for couples and those with children. Motel had direct access to the beach and esplanada. Quick access for children. Great swimming area for young children as well as adults. Lots of local reataurants as well as food stores to purchase...
