This place is perfect to base your Airline Beach holiday from, great rooms with comfy beds, Movie channel on TV when you need to relax. Call Shirley direct for booking as they are super helpful and can sort out all other tour bookings as well. It is also a very short walk to posties- The best cafe in town and an easy 35 min walk to town.

Kipara Tropical Rainforest Retreat offers good rooms with all amenities one would require and excellent rates. I made my booking via booking.com There are various room types but I took one with a double bed which had ensuite bathroom, TV, kettle with tea/coffee, A/C so everything I required. The Wifi was a bit variable but the manager told me that prior to me booking when I called up so no issue for me. It's a nice peaceful location and as the name says tropical rainforest feel with the way it is designed. There is a BBQ area and Guest laundry facilities also available The manager I met was terrific and great help with advise and suggestions of things to see and do in the region and can assist booking various tours. There is a few carpark blocks available but its a very short walk from carpark to cabins. No issue for me but anyone with walking issues might want to specify this at the time of booking so they are given a cabin close to a carpark. Shops (IGA) and cafe are very close by, whilst with car its a short distance into Airlie beach main centre or the other way to Shute Harbour Highly recommended and I would love to stay here again…

We stayed in a cabin which was ok for budget accommodation. It was well used but pretty clean. It was quite peaceful, the bed was ok. The first night I didn’t sleep well as it was very cold. The extra blanket was quite thin. The next night I left the air conditioning on to keep it warm but the aircon was quite noisy so ear plugs will come in handy. Overall it was good value for money.

Excellent service friendly staff and great facilities in a beautiful environment. Close to public transport, shops, beaches etc. Beautiful area with friendly people & l had a ball!! Room or cabins reasonably priced for the $ conscious.

Was very affordable, quiet and lovely. We stayed in the self contained cabin but there is also a shared BBQ area. It’s like a home away from home. It’s only a few minutes from the CBD as well. Definitely worth every penny.
