Had to check in at last minute due to a disastrous Airbnb stay nearby. Staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed 5 nights in a really comfortable ground floor room. Hotel really close to all amenities. Breakfast included and perfectly adequate. Thank you to John and all his staff.

This is a 2-storey motel property. We stayed on the ground floor with nice little balcony overlooking the pool and some water/port views. It's about a 10 min. walk to the main shopping strip (with Woolworths and bottle shop plus restaurants). The rooms aren't perfectly insulated, so there is some neighbourly noise. The breakfast was a nice inclusion and was...

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful - to the extent of looking after our luggage while we did a 3-day sailing trip from Airlie before we had even checked in. When we did check in the person on reception gladly called the airport transit company and arranged for the bus to pick us up outside the...

If you're desperate to stay walking distance to the port, this place is fairly close without breaking the bank. The staff was very nice and helpful. But my single room was a bit creepy. The bathroom was OK and things were fairly clean. I cannot pinpoint what it was, but something about the space felt "off." I didn't feel unsafe,...

We booked this hotel for its convenient location to the harbour as we were setting out early the following morning for our reef sleep adventure. What a lovely place, owner very friendly and really keen to give us advice on where to eat that evening. Allowed us to leave our car in the car park for the following night even...

I enjoyed my stay at the Colonial Palms. Large, clean rooms with a balcony. The pool area was good too. The owner was very nice and helpful. I choose this place because it was very close to the Marina. It was easy to walk to the terminal to hop on board of the vessels.

Rooms were clean and well decorated. Very comfortable beds. Lovely pool setting. Good continental breakfast included. Very helpful staff. The rooms overlook the pool and have views through the palms to the marina and Inlet. Walking distance to the main Airlie Beach street and lagoon (even for oldies who were in our group). Across the road from the port of...

We booked a superior room for one night then left our luggage for one night whilst on a tour and returned to a standard room for a further 5 nights. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the port which is great for reef excursions and a short walk from the main town. Hotel offered a complimentary continental breakfast...

Good location, friendly staff, nice restaurant and a lovely big room. We were able to leave our bags, free of charge, for 2 days. This was above what was expected and we would recommend the hotel. The food in the restaurant was lovely and fresh.
