This place was just amazing. It is centrally locate right in the town centre of Airlie with easy access to everything. It is literally next door to woolies and restaurants,pubs and bars and only 5-10 minutes walk to the marina or port of Airlie which was super convenient! Not only that the beach and the lagoon are just across the street! The room we stayed in was a fully self-contained cabin and it was clean and got everything that we needed to have an enjoyable stay. If you haven’t got you tours and activities sorted, the front reception also book tours and they will do everything in their power to help you especially Jules. My partner require prescription mask for snorkelling and Jules went out of her way to contact local diving hire for us that supply this type of snorkelling mask. This place was absolutely amazing. My partner and I stayed in one of their newly renovated self contained rooms and they were super clean & comfy.. beautiful scenery, loved the location as it was so close to everything around Airlie Beach. Great friendly staff, they were always keen to help us out with anything, specially Julles, who was simply fantastic with us! The place was always clean, the housekeepers did an amazing job, they were also very friendly with us! The bathrooms have a good size, good location and quantity. The rooms were good as well, good size, good air conditioning, good little fridge, everything we needed was there! The location is AMAZING! We did everything walking, which was just great! We definitely recommend Magnums as the best hostel in Arlie Beach and we would definitely stay there again if we ever go back! = )

Room stank. I think something died in it. Linen had been changed so not sure what was so bad. Reception had closed that night so I was stuck but left early next day. The surly receptionist was fairly disinterested when I explained what had happened.
