We stayed for 5 nights in a pool side room. The room was adequately sized for our family of 3. Disappointing to discover though that the single bed in the lounge area only had a comforter which was full of sand, and no sheets. Annoying to have to chase this up given there is an additional fee for using the bed. The room was in need of a thorough clean - it felt like it had only had a quick once over. We also experienced problems with the shower and bathroom basin. On our first day, there was no hot water. To their credit, this was rectified, though there was still weirdness with the cold water tap in the shower; you had to turn it to fully open to get any water to flow. Also an ear-piercing water hammer on the cold water tap for the bathroom basin. The most disappointing aspect of our stay however, was the discovery that smoking is permitted on balconies. Due to the configuration of the balconies we were in very close proximity to cigarette smoke much of our stay. We were unable to enjoy our balcony and pretty much had to stay inside the room with the glass door closed due to wafting cigarette smoke. If you are a non-smoker, it might be best to stay elsewhere.…
We stayed 3 nights. We appreciated our early check in as we arrived early on the train. Our apartment was a good size with good air conditioning and a lovely view over the harbor. The bed was very comfortable and there was no road noise. Very basic kitchen with a microwave and a electric fry pan to cook on. There is a free laundry on site. There is a communal bbq and a great pool. Our apartment was very dusty. There is a very steep driveway to enter the property. It is a short walk into town and to the Saturday market.
Excellent view from your spa on the veranda Had bubbles in the spa and also in the glass of champagne. friendly approachable staff. Clean spacious room. Very clean sparkling pool. Walking distance to town and restaurants. Short walk to the cruise terminal.
First time to Airlie Beach and stayed more than one week. Happy to return stay again. Conveniently located for a short walk into town centre and marina, the serviced apartments have balconies and all face to marina including views of the pool. Always had good service and info when I interacted with the reception/management (Robyn).Other staff are also friendly and helpful. Management and checkin process is friendly, professional, experienced and flexible and they care for their clients. Showers are strong and hot in a large clean comfortable room and the bed is very comfortable and warm so I have a good sleep. The walls and floors are solid for well rested and safely relaxed holiday for the next stage of long drive back. Cooking facilities are fine and in-house Nespresso Coffee machine is an added bonus. We will stay again there without hesitation for the comfort and good value and great service. Thanks and Regards, Lee…
Walking in it looked lovely, nice view and great position. We had utensils to cook but nothing to cook on. A bit strange. Dishwasher powder but no dishwasher. The bathroom was a great size but needed a thorough clean. Not sure when the tiles or glass got scrubbed down. Pretty bad and the toilet too. Some CLR may help with both of these. It was a new toilet seat but doesnt fit the toilet. The bed was comfortable and a great size couch/bed settee. The needs professional cleaning. Some big stains on it. The tv wasn't much bigger than my old computed monitor and it has been awhile since it has been dusted. When i was cleaning the kitchen sink down before leaving i wipe all the tiles and parts of that haven't been cleaned in awhile either. One of the bins downstairs should have been moved. pretty sure someone put fish or prawn shells in it and it stunk getting down the stairs or coming out of the elevator…
