As with last year our room was very comfortable, with additional touches that you certainly don't find in every hotel, for example, a ledge to rest your suitcase so you're not scrabbling around on the floor in order to get items in or out, a shower head that has an adjustable height facility, allowing for whatever height you are! All...

get up early for your shower to ensure hot water, it had all gone by 07:30. The motel is pretty basic, but after travelling all day, a bed was all we needed. Queenstown is probably the least banging place on the planet ! We got there at 21:30 on a tuesday evening and everywhere was shut, including all the pubs...

Good morning, Just a quick note regarding hot water. Very sorry about the lack of supply in the morning, but the hot water service connected to your units had gone down overnight. When reported in the morning the plumbers were called and it was replaced. Sorry but was completely unavoidable from our perspective, but I believe at 8am-ish you were...

My partner and I booked into the silver hills motel for 1 night. We were running late so called the motel who we're very accommodating. Once we arrived we were treated to a large room with great facilities and an amazing view of nearby mt lyall. Best $125 we've ever spent! 😊

i always find these places tricky to rate. really it's about shifting my criteria to match the context. ordinarily i would not choose to stay at the silver hills motel if i was thinking about a holiday. so i shouldn't rate it based on the sort of holiday criteria i have in my head. i stayed there whilst on work...

This is my third stay here at silver hills and I have loved each visit! The room is comfortable with lovely views of the mountains and the restaurant serves amazing food. But it is the staff and owner that make this such a great place to stay. After a particularly heavy frost in winter, I left my room to find one...

The Silver Hills Motel has long been a central part of the tourism infrastructure of this struggling mining town that has not yet fully exploited its wonderful tourism and cultural potential. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, have wi-fi, small microwave, kettle and towels/linen fresh and clean. The staff are helpful, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Queenstown is relatively...

We could see the snow capped mountain from our front door. The in house restaurant is also very good. Staff are friendly and efficient. Beds are comfortable and the rooms have good heating. Highly recommended.

The room is comfortable , no frills except for the wonderful mountain vista. Very snug in the storms which swept across from the West. We ate in the Silver Hills restaurant both nights, good food and generous serves. The restaurant also has a pretty spectacular outlook.

Our stay at Silver Hills was unexpected. We had booked accomodation at Derwent Bridge but a massive power blackout in the region meaning no heating, lighting or water pumps, caused us to travel on late in the day in the face of an oncoming storm. When I called Silver Hills and explained our dilemma, Angela was most welcoming and offered...

Had a lovely stay here while traveling the Tasmanian west! Hotel rooms are older style, but was very clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for my needs. Had dinner at the restaurant - upon booking in, the receptionist advised me that it would be a busy night due to a surprise 60th birthday party that was being held there that night,...
