Great value for money. I needed accommodation late in the day - they were very obliging. The room was large neat and tidy, and the shower nice and hot. TV reception poor. The fresh there guarantees a v good sleep.

We arrived after 6pm and were greeted by a very friendly hostess. She checked us in and then rang up a tour company and booked us in on a Gordon River cruise the next day. She was more than happy to oblige. It's refreshing to see genuine old fashioned cheerful service at the front desk. This place seems like a...

The Mountain View Motel advertises itself as basic and that is exactly what it is. It is clean, well maintained and well appointed with wifi, microwave, toaster, kettle, TV and a/c etc. Given its timber construction there is some noise from adjacent rooms, but in our case it was evident but not objectionable. Very genial host.

Firstly I would say this was built many years ago. They provide a laundry for guest that I would say has never been cleaned since day one. The room is very basic, air conditioning that doesn't work, TV that works once management fiddle with it. Internet that never connects. Stay more than one night and the room is not serviced...

During peak season this was what we could get at reasonable value. Got what we expected. It is close to what we wanted to do around Queenstown and Strahan. Allowed us to do our laundry in the middle of our trip.

The owners are fantastic. So helpful and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Don't arrive expecting the Hyatt or Hilton and you will have a great time. The murals are an added bonus as are the reassuring welcome statues outside reception. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked this because they offered a queen room with wifi, ensuite and the possibility of cooking for myself. It was also a short walk from town. All for less than $100 The room was quite spacious, well set out and had plenty of seating. For the price it was good value. The walk to town was, as promised, short...

We stayed in this motel one night. It is basically cheapest motel in area so do not expect five star specialities. Motel has seen its best days - some air freshment in rooms could be done. Place for quick stop to continue journey but not for longer stay. Basic facilities are in place for bagpackers. Area is famous of its...

We drove in to town from Strahan, and it was right there! A VERY reasonably priced little place, lovely warm, clean tidy units, and very close to the supermarket, the pub, the museum/info centre, and gateways to both eastern highways, and west - Queenstown is a beautiful little spot, so much colour, history, antiquity, uniqueness, and this little motel was...

It had been snowing and we were welcomed after a full days driving in the cold with a clean large room. Be prepared wifi is slow in this area. The town is very small- it is just a stop over place but cosy and very enjoyable.

Thank Lyn J
