Charrington is a great hotel to stay in for people traveling in smaller numbers. Located a short walk away from the Chatswood Interchange, it allows for smooth, hassle-free travel around the Sydney region, which was very convenient considering it's price. The room was great, staff were very nice, and the hotel looks amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who...

Short walk into central Chatswood off the main road next to the school. Cheap rates are somewhat reflected in the rooms which are still good enough to do the job. Friendly and very helpful staff made me feel welcome. Car parking can be an issue during weekdays. Slept great.

I work at Chatswood on a regular basis and I stay here about 2-3 times a month. Its not as modern as newer hotels but has an old world charm, and is about half the price of most others. Its close to shops and train (10 mins) but is also quiet. The loudest noise in the morning is the birds....

This is probably the greatest example of how hotels have misused the word 'boutique' to describe themselves. You definitely get what you pay for here.....and this is definitely at the cheaper end of what is available in Sydney. Everyone who worked there was perfectly nice, room was OK, bed a little soft, but to use the word 'Boutique' is a...

What a great location , only 100yards or so from the train station and located not far from the Princess hwy. This lovely hotel will delight you, from its intriguite ceiling patterns gorgeous lesdlight lamps, and periodic furniture. The room was very clean , lacking nothing and oozing charm and personality. Will definitely stay here again if I need to...

Very charming place despite being outdated. Clean. Big tv. Felt very welcome on arrival. I found it odd that on the website it costs extra for rooms with air con, wifi and breakfast but I got air con and wifi for the cheaper room rate. Good area in working distance to shops and train.

The Charrington is on a street that has a high school and a pri army school. We arrived at 3.15pm, unable to park until 3.30pm and in the morning not able to park after 8.30am. The hotel is of old world charm, but as it was a hot day was not able to offer aircon. There was a fan, but...

We stayed in a standard double room, which was good value for money at $129 a night. The room was clean and cosy, and it was nice to sit on the balcony, which over looked bushland. The staff were very helpful and polite, and helped us to find the fan switch (it was behind the curtain) and took our photo...
