Visiting Cooma, had been told that the Alpine Hotel was the best bet. They had a special tonight of Fish Pie - absolutely delicious, full of white fish, mussels and perfectly cooked prawns, we also had seasonal greens which were very good. I was expecting frozen pub grub but was amazed at the quality and freshness of the food.

A great pub with excellent customer service. We will return again for the amazing meals. The owners are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We would recommend anyone travelling up to Cooma and nearby to stop and have a meal.

Good hotel for an overnight stay. Shared bathrooms, clean linen, well priced and all round pleasant experience. We had dinner at the bistro down stairs but the food took forever - would get food elsewhere next time but would stay at the hotel again.

Possibly the Greatest Pub in the World, Ever...... Great staff, great pub, great people, food to die for and biker friendly and couldn't be more accommodating. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Cooma there's nowhere better!

No locked garage, just a courtyard with camera next to a bunch of drunk people. Went there with my family (a 2 yo and a 4 yo) and we could hear in the room the music from the pub very loudly (90 db). I went to complain, the manager offered to reimburse but charge of 30 dollars for "cleaning fees"....

What a fantastic place! A basic, clean, comfortable, warm room. Huge meal in the restaurant. Big fluffy towel and comfy bed. Hot water in the shower could be hotter, but overall, loved staying here - it has so much character. A great stopover to or from the snow - terrific value.

Every time I stay here I am impressed with the level of service and comfort for such a reasonable price. Excellent for motorcyclists with secure in garage storage usually. The single rooms are a good size with room heaters and electric blankets for the beds, much appreciated after a cold winter ride.

Stayed the night with some friends for a fishing trip. Rooms are basic but appropriately priced, shared amenities etc. The bar is very atmospheric and the pub meals were great. Have the kosciuszko pale ale on tap... Amazing. Centrally located with places for breakfast across the road. Great for a stopover.
