My wife and I stayed at Cromwell House for three nights in August 2016. We were met with a most gracious welcome by the owner/operator Steve Allen as we drove in, which instantly made us both feel relaxed and special. Steve took us on a tour of his beautiful house, pointing out the main parts of Cromwell House, which a...

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at beautiful Cromwell House. A very warm welcome from our host, who showed us around this gorgeous house, and then to our large and very well appointed room. It was typical Cooma winter weather and to be able to sit in the comfortable lounge each night with the roaring fire, was just...

What a delight it was to be able to stay at this beautiful BnB again. It had been quite some time since my husband and I had been able to stay with Steve and we can attest that this is the best and only place to stay in Cooma for any occasion. Steve remembered that my husband loved Steve's delicious...

Arrived at 4.45 pm on 9th Steve still working. While waiting for Steve observed the grounds to be very tired dry and overgrown with weeds. Steve showed us the room options which didn't include personal bathroom. It was a hot day and the west facing rooms were hot and didn't include an air conditioner ! This was enough to bid...

OMG - I have heard many times that dealing with the public can be difficult. However over the past five years of operating Cromwell House my experience has been the complete opposite, until today when having read this absurd and fictional review. Over the years I have taken delight in welcoming hundreds of guests to Cromwell House - people from...

It's safe to say that Steve and his beloved Cromwell House continues to impress and delight. Welcomed with a smile and on this occasion a lovely glass of champagne, Steve is the consummate host coupled with the welcoming sight of the fire on this particular cold evening in May was just the icing on the cake. Again our bedroom which...

A friend recommended Cromwell House as a lovely place to stay in Cooma and we were not disappointed. The house is tucked away from the street so we were surprised as we drove in to find a beautifully lit up home that looked warm and inviting, quite magical.
