We stayed for a long weekend and have to say were impressed with the homestead accommodation. It was clean, cosy and had everything you need for a comfy stay. The farm website probably needs some updating as there are animals on it that you do not get to see on the farm but other than that, kids got to feed... More

We booked 3 bed farm house for our family and my sons family for 5 adults and a baby. Our in-in laws family booked one bed cabin. Both accomodations were excellent. There were horses, geese and chickens to feed. Facilities are good and quite close to Jindabyne. We spent five nights and had a good time. Saw a brown snake... More

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. Lovely and clean rooms with a great view of the farm from the main bedroom and the kitchen. Lots of lovely animals reign and Lilly (the horses) were a huge hit with the kids we went out everyday to give them a carrot. Lots of baby animals out with their mums. We... More

We've stayed here twice, once under each management, and had a great time each time. The first time we stayed in the one bedroom cabins and found them to be very warm, comfortable with all the amenities you need and the drying room is very handy for post-skiing and snow play. The communal lounge-dining room with an open fire was... More

This is our 4th time staying at highland lodge farm stay but the first time we have stayed in the farmhouse. It was great, we had 5 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed walking around the farm and sitting by the bonfire. It even snowed for us! I have and will continue to... More

We stayed in July 2015 during a cold snap and were lucky enough to get some snow at the farm (as well as great skiing). Kids aged 9 (twins), 7 and 5 loved the chickens, ducks, geese and a huge turkey. And the horses. They fell in love with Molly the dog and loved playing soccer and fetch with her.... More

We had a great stay. 2 nights in December 2015 just before schoolholidays so had the place to ourselves. Bob gave us a tour of the property in the ute which was fantastic thanks! Fresh scrambled eggs with chives for breakfast everyday and a campfire under the stars both nights. Definitely recommended for families with kids - especially those who... More

Thank you for your review. We took note of your comment about the insects and have replaced all the nets on the screen doors. So now insect proof for summer. More

We stayed here for a few nights in Dec 2014 with three younger kids. We saw the video on the website, and booked immediately. There's new management, and things have changed... Look, it's still got chickens and eggs for the kids to collect. But, you can't collect the duck eggs (they want ducklings). There were no alpacas (they went to... More

Thank you for your comments we do appreciate the feedback. The video will be updated to relict the current animals. We are very excited about the possibility of ducklings and they will be cute and a hit for our guests when they arrive. The other female ducks are still laying free range out in the fowl yard. A bit of... More

Stayed three nights in in a one bedroom unit. Plenty of space for family of four and very roomy kitchen. Kids loved seeing the horses, feeding the Chooks, playing in the playground and generally being on the farm, much more fun than a hotel any day.

We stayed here in July 2014. Unfortunately Patrick and Katrina are no longer running the farm so the animals experience isn't as good as last time we stayed (no rides across the property in Patrick's ute this time). But - the kids got to feed the chickens and the bon fire was a hit.
