Great price for a very clean, well-equipped and welcoming hostel. Had a lovely stay. There were nice touches like a nice warm fire in the living room, yummy cake and a good ethos (recycling and supporting a charity through funds they raise).

Location wise the hostel is in a good spot and the owner is very friendly and helpful with her suggestions of hikes and walking trails. We stayed here based on previous reviews which all seemed fine. However during our stay we encountered some problems. The room itself on first glance seemed fine, basic but clean. On the 2nd night however...

This 'hostel' did not feel like your average backpacker accommodation at all. It was a gorgeous homely feeling house in the Blue Mountains and was more like a b 'n' b than a hostel, which was fantastic. We booked a private twin room which was lovely and spacious, no air con but they had a fan which was fine. The...

My husband and I are in our 30's and were wondering if we were getting too old to stay in a hostel, but No 14 in Katoomba changed our minds. The place is well-situated, well-kept and friendly and our room felt like a guest room in a friend's home, rather than a hostel. We enjoyed the shared kitchen where there...

This cute little hostel has so much character. The rooms are cozy and we met amazing people there. But honestly the thing that made it for me was the staff. I hardly ever met such engaged, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great job girls!!!

I stayed there only 2 nights but eill remember this stay and the lovely personnel as one of the most delightful on my travels! Really relaxed and family like atmosphere. When I first entered I asked about hikes, etc in the area and she gave me advise about free campsites without me even asking!! Not money oriented, just really caring...

Kym & Mandy hit it out of the park at No.14. The hostel felt more like home. It was peaceful, clean, in close proximity of all the sites and hikes in Katoomba. After a good 4-5 hour hike, it was a calm place to recover and head out on another hike the next day. Kym is so kind, knowledgable and...
