This was truly a night to remember. The service was impeccable. The food was superb. The attention to detail and the warm friendly atmosphere added up to a wonderful anniversary meal. Thank you to Leah our wonderful waitress and the generous owner who gifted us with some tiny spoons that I happened to admire. We will be back..... Soon.

My mum and I enjoyed a fantastic night out at the Rooster restaurant recently. The food was flavoursome and presented beautifully, the French champagne chilled & flowing and the complimentary bread was very moorish! Would definitely revisit this restaurant next time I'm in the Blue Mountains.

Their snails in garlic butter is to die for! Food is always fantastic at this place and the atmosphere is lovely in the retaurant. Visitong this restaurant is a highlight of every trip to the Blue Mountains. The staff were lovely but needed more experience to develop flare and finesse and round up the experience.

This place is just so lovely. Perfect mix of old and modern style; very cosy. It ended up being a really stormy weekend so we didn't get to see much of The Blue Mountains but we had a really fantastic stay regardless. The staff are easy going and friendly but also highly professional. The dinner was beautiful; top quality food... More

I surprised my husband for his 40th birthday by taking him to Katoomba for the weekend & staying at Jamison house. It was amazing! I wasn't really sure what to expect before arriving, but when we got there we couldn't be happier. The photos don't do it justice. We stayed in the Baudelaire suite. It was a beautiful & spacious... We had a fantastic get away from Sydney staying with "the Rooster". So ideally located to walks, the views, the Interior, their love to details, even the over heated rooms felt good. Pricewise an interesting deal too, $350 incl. a perfect dinner with some French Sparkling and next morning Breakfast a la carte. Check out for Australian standards very civilized,... More

My partner and I visited the Rooster tonight and had a great experience. The service was super fast and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The Angus steak was cooked to perfection, and the veal was 'melt in your mouth' tender. The atmosphere was awesome too, with a violinist (Simon Watts) entertaining us and playing our requests. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and took advantage of the accommodation and dinner package. We found the room to be comfortable, warm and cosy. Facilities were clean and adequate, and whilst there are none of the modern conveniences, we didn't miss them, as this isn't one of those types of places. The highlight however, was the... More

This place was perfect for our Wedding Anniversary. Very French including staff, music and food. Wonderful view of the Jamison Valley directly from our restaurant table. French Champagne, crepe suzettes flamed at the table etc etc. The staff were young and enthusiastic. It was a brilliant stay!
