Brian was a very good host, very friendly and nothing was missing. There were DVDs to borrow, free chocolate and cookies. The room was lovely with a four poster bed, TV and armchairs to sit down and have tea or read books. Pillows were too hard but found some soft ones in the cupboard. Unable to close the door in...

Very hospitable owners, Brian spent time recommending what to do in the area and how to avoid the crowds at Echo Point. We did both the hikes he suggested, which we wouldn't have found left to ourselves - thanks! Lovely, friendly (calm) Airedale terrier. Great, filling Breakfast sets you up for the rest of the day.

We stayed two nights at Broomelea and loved it. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are great. The breakfast is worth all the praise it can get: strawberries, fruits, great muslie and bacon and egg to die for... As a bonus, the settings are outstanding for the price you pay.

We had initially considered staying at the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba, but having visited it earlier in the day realised it was more of a tourist attraction. Broomelea is a wonderful old house that has been sympathetically restored and maintained to a high standard throughout while still giving you a glimpse into the past. The room was great, with a...

The room was typical turn of the century quintessential mountains style weatherboard and very well maintained; Our room had a great shower, lots of hot water (we live in the country off the grid so it was much appreciated!); was a bit stuffy with the conservatory attached, but we found the fan! The cooked breakfast was lovely; Our host was...

We stayed in the separate house with two daughters for two nights. It was a delightful area to walk and look around some great little shops. The aircon unit had a mind of its own but we really enjoyed staying here. We were given privacy to come and go and do our own thing. Lots of room and the TV...

Loved staying at this B&B and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating! It was such a treat to start the day with beautifully cooked breakfast and in the afternoon there were other sweet treats in the lounge for the guests. Location is superb, walking distance to the cute Leura shops and overall, it was a great stay! Highly recommend...

A beautiful house in lovely gardens with an old fashioned feel but not lacking in modern amenities. We experienced a warm welcome from Denise who showed us around and offered great advice on local walks. It was great to see original fixtures and fittings in working order, four-poster beds, traditional furnishings and all complimented by a modern shower, free Wifi,...

We stay for a night with a friend, taking two rooms. Denise welcomed us warmly. The house is just gorgerous and maintained with a lot of heart in it. Very large living room with delicate garden view. Bryan cooked us breakfast next morning, warm coffe, warm evrything! This is definitely the highlight of our short trip to blue mountains. Will...
